It may be good to stress that finishing off players is necessary. Red mist’s damage is in combos, and the short intervals between the combos are how she gets damaged (at which point you better be behind a wall). You don’t want to waste a big combo on someone just for them to return 40 seconds later, with a full healthbar and the same annoyingness factor. You may be called a targetter, but it’s better than being at a disadvantage due to your mercy.
I wouldn't say it's absolutely necessary, there's always exceptions to the rule. It's a matter of what items they and the people around them have. But most of the time, yes, you will want to finish off people you've already committed a combo to.
great guide, i play more carelessly but confident knowing that id destroy everyone regardless of what they do and in rare cases just use horizontal split to help with the remains lmao (the only thing that ever killed me was dumb ahh onrush glitch which for whatever reason decides to climb a wall on criticalstrike making me climbing over it into lava...)
Honestly, red mist is such a cool juggernaut to play as. I mean, the sword and game. It's just fun to onrush around the map and fling people lol heheh spooky sword go grahhhhh (red mist is my second main, so I play her when i dont get the cat with a nuke)
2:27 there is also another way to prevent this. After Landing an onrush immediately turn 180 to the back . that will CONFRIM the second hit and will infact launch them back to you to continue your combo.
Big issue with that is that it tends to be unpredictable (and thus unreliable) at times, it's less consistent than just hitting them near a wall when possible. Plus, it makes for an easier follow up to go right near to them using the 2nd onrush to initiate a combo from your close position.

Red Mist have Enough Skill Gap to Have it own video You need to know the situation and what you are doing otherwise it not ending well You also need an accuracy on landing a hit which might not be that hard but still not a free kill
i believed i said this But imagine they remove ragdoll from spear and make onrush do only hitstun and kills with it dont give extra distance (Red mist becomes even worse and everyone sends a jar of mustard gas and farts to Jean and Port's house)

Thank for the guide man, I had the same match as Red Mist in that same map, but dead due to my carelessness and not targeting any heavy hitters soon enough. The only one match I was close to winning was on Beta Island, but dead when players had like 4-5 lives left because I onrush to the void. Any tips for not using onrush whenever it’s on again? Sometimes I couldn’t resist the urge to use it.
It takes time but you gotta exercise the free will of the human spirit! Use it only to disengage and engage, and don't use it near ledges unless you're really confident that you're not going to fall off... people saying red mist nerfed into red mid meanwhile i still winning with buffed health either you do agree or not i think its a buff for red mist since you mostly able to use ego twice now and because im PM fan
I decided not to tech into the "hijab method" (as that's too easy) and instead opted to cover most of the body with a low-vis texture to min-max puritanism while drawing less attention with the exception of the visible midriff and small amount of area above the knee. An expert doesn't need an advanced guide.
