I went and bought the cleanser today in Aldi, it’s so nice, thanks for recommendation! I also got the chocolate and a diffuser! Thanks for your vlog xx
I agree with this selection. I would also stock up on Aldi skincare and certain toiletry items even. That range of chocolate bars - my go to was the whole almond one. Yes, I agree with the crisps and the cleaning wipes too!
Just curious... If the liz earl cleanser has the exact same ingredients why would you only buy the aldi as a back up and continue to waste 27 quid on the liz earl product? X
I was wondering that too but could it be that mentally you know you have the original/the real one and that feels good? I really don't know I always watch the pennies and I was never into brands. So I'd be very interested to hear people's thoughts on this too. :)
Some say the Liz Earl is more balmy, like cocoa butter, whereas the Lacura cleanser was creamier - however both feel lovely and do the job. Great Video, as always, Julie 🤗
They’re rose oil is good as is their Lacura Cavier range moisturiser. They are a dupe for £438 La Prairie! They’re protein pancakes and yogs are good too. Got a fab dupe Le Cruset cast iron casserole dish for £29 ! So many good items in Aldi. 😩I only go in for a few bit but get sucked in by the middle aisle !! 🙈
Agree with wipes @ magnum dupe @ candles. Always used to have nothing else but kings mill bread but buy Aldi orange packet bread really thick & lasts long time, love your vlogs so natural & honest. X
She literally said she couldn’t afford it before so she got the Aldi dupe. Maybe now if she can afford something she wants to get that as a treat? If I could afford the real version of something I would just for the sense of enjoying that I could
@@Nicola-ul6bt if it’s exactly the same it’s not a treat to buy the expensive one because it’s exactly the same… just buying for the brand name which imo especially right now with cost of living crisis is a little out of touch
I deffo need to try those diffusers😍. My Nanna always said, “look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves”😄. Would love to see your Aldi food haul. Xx
Aldi in america has its own organic line that i love and a line called fit and active thats healthier snacks i always stock up on. I also love their frozen chicken cordon blues you can buy 4 for like 3 dollats whereas a box of four in stores is like 9 dollars and the individual ones at aldi are just as good or better. I also always buy their waffernuese brand hazelnut chocolate wafer bars like a rochere kit kat, they are phenomenal. I buy toilet paper there and paper towel and frozen ch9cken breast, burger ( you call mince) and sliced ham for lunches. When we had a store nearby i would soend 60 dollars a week on groceries vs 150 at our local stores. Sadly there arent as many Aldi in the USA so you have to travel a bit to find one but they are worth it 😊
Also love the Aldi wipes, good quality, the section with all the salads, ready salad meals and hummus is really good there,i get the oat crackers to dip in hummus, really nice, but good price too, never got the candle's there, they look good, and as u said smell amazing,so im thinking of going to get some of those, good video as usual 🌷🕯️
I love Aldi! I never get a trolley though, because I never have a £1 coin so I always end up with an overflowing basket. I love the cereal bars, the bagels and the fresh meat is usually really good. I've been using the Lacura retinol toner which I love, I'll have to try the hot cloth cleanser too. If it's just as good as the Liz Earl one, how come you keep buying the LE one? I used to get the LE one, but if I can save money and buy the Aldi one, then I won't be buying LE again! Instead of keeping the baby wipes in the kitchen, you could get Atticus to wash his face in the bathroom with a flannel. That will save you money in the long run and it's better for the environment too. I'm a messy eater sometimes (even at the grand old age of 33!), so I go to the bathroom to clean up aftwerwards.
I know you like Jo Malone products, the Hotel Collection products arena dupe and smell exactly the same. Lighter on the purse too! The Lime basil and mandarin perfume is lush.
I regularly get the Aldi nappies and wipes, I think they are better than pampers and so affordable for new mums living off maternity pay! Also, the chocolate covered oreos dupes (both milk and white) are yummy! The Aldi own brand tropical blast drink (dupe for Lilt) and orange zero drink (dupe for Fanta) taste exactly the same as the more expensive versions. Great video idea, would love to see you do more videos like this from other supermarkets or places you go to like Lidl (if you shop there of course)? B&M? Home bargains? xxx
I sometimes go to Aldi s good value for money, I buy pasta from there bolognase sauce and a few other bits and they are just has good has the branded ones even better. I think will have to make it a permanent thing now shopping at Aldi it saves money. ❤
I have to disagree on candles I think they far better than the white company and Joe, my favourite one is oud and bergamot they dont bring them out a lot in aldi but when they do I buy them all, when my dad died so he had them for me I found a whole crate in his shed, my husband loves the chocolate 😊
You look so pretty today, such a lovely outfit channelling Spring Vibes! Probably treating ourselves to new seasonal clothes is an act of self care I need to do!! Such a helpful vid too
I just started watching the video but I already love that you said this video idea came to you and that you would enjoy watching this. I just loved that. 😊 Ps I love Aldi!
I like there clementines they look like the same packet as M&S and taste just as good I think they probably come from the same factory 😂but half the price
Wipes are one of the worst things for the environment. They cause so much damage to marine life and our ocean. I hate to see people excessively using these things when there are many many friendlier alternatives
You’re right - especially people who use them excessively and/or flush them down the toilet. They should never be flushed in to our waterways, even when the branding claims they’re “flushable”.
