Loved this video. I personally don’t care for polyurethane because I can spot it a mile away. It always looks fake to me. It also has a tendency to crack and peel. But depending on your budget PU is an alternative for someone. I’d always pick genuine leather over PU any day

I purchased a $150 Tiffany and Fred leather dupe of the wine colored bag. I’ve received so many compliments on the bag. I love the Botega bag but I’m in the process of buying a house so $4200 on a bag was out of the question.

Some may want to get the look for less especially with trendy items. I personally prefer not to when it comes to handbags or shoes. I no longer purchase trendy styles but more classic timeless pieces. This was a great video! Do more 🥰

Yes, I recommend going in store to play with it. I fell in LOVE with the large version but the price 😅lol. I got a dupe of the small version and love it. However the one thing I needed was real leather. Enjoyed this video! The Andiamo you have is stunning! Thanks for sharing 😊

Idk if you are aware but you can take the strap off completely using the gold knot hardware. This way you can remove the middle stiff compartment leaving the bag fully open bag inside. Hope that helps

That strap hurts the shoulder too when worn crossbody, also it’s hard to get your stuff from inside when crossbody as the opening gets narrowed by the pulling of the strap. So it’s really advisable to dupe first and see how you like the wear.

Hey doll, was at BV store to drool over the medium size. For the long strap to be neatly tucked away, you can do a pretty bun knot on the side opposite of the buckle. Hope this helps!

Great video Moni! The dup doesn’t look as luscious as the real bag and of course it wouldn’t since it’s not real leather! If I can’t afford the actual bag I’m going to opt for a real leather bag vs the dup! I do understand the point of dups if you want to test out an item before you take the plunge. I have a serious list of bags I’m eyeing so although I’m passing on this one Bottega’s new clutch and the Jodi are in my sights! TFS 😊💚

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the original bag and the dupe. You would most likely remove the long leather strap in order to carry it with the handle (w/o you having to place it inside the zipper and getting in your way).... Thanks again for your honest review. v/r

One of my best friends has the Mini Jodie...I got a feel for it and I was not impressed. It felt flimsy and almost plastic. No structure at all. I would stick to a $90 dupe. Thank you for sharing! I enjoyed your video.

You can put a knot on each side then tuck the sides into the bag❤ Pull it inward just like you were doing.then tie the knot

I have one HIDUPZ bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...

@@awedbymonica True about PU and the environment. It's not biodegradable. Real leather is biodegradable and has been reported to usually break down within 10- 50 years whereas PU has been reported to take 10 times or more as long and basically just breaks, chips, cracks, but is not biodegradable like leather. The fact these bags can be faked and sold at a fraction of the price just shows how much the luxury brands are ripping people off. Yes quality and materials might not be the same but some dupes are pretty good. I’ve wasted so much money on designer bags and, as a 50 year old, could have bought another house or many HIDUPZ with what I’ve spent. My advice is to only buy if you can afford it plus other important things and don’t necessarily turn your nose up at a dupe!

I don't understand a dupe. You can get a cute quality leather purse that is super cute. I will never understand spending $6000-$15000 for a purse. I can remodel an entire house for that price. I would rather buy Michael Kors or Coach which are real leather for $100-$600. I've been on my vintage Coach kick which they still look like new decades later.

How could someone really think they were getting real leather for 90 dollars in the dupe. I say for what it is worth, for someone who really want that bag and surely can’t afford the real bag, go for it. Most of use would definitely choose the real bag if affordable. If I wanted it, I would dupe it even if I could afford it. I have more than enough bags in rotation . I don’t need another expensive bag to try to make sure I am wearing it.

PU leather is plastic. They usually call it “vegan leather” but it’s just plastic. Very cheap material. Very smelly.

I know people who make over 200k a year but they only buy *preluxs* . No one would question their bag because of their profession, so why spend thousands on the same bag? It's so refreshing to see people spending their money wisely
