Honestly, I appreciate your videos and website so much, I have used lots of different websites to revise from and your videos are so clear and easy to understand. Can you please do this question by bisection method 3x-√1+sinx [0,1] up to 3 decimal places , 13 iterations

It is possible to use the iteration method for higher polynomic function (In this case for n>3, ax^n ± bx ± c=0)? However, absolutely amazing video, thank you very much!

Yes, absolutely. In fact you can attempt to use it for pretty much any function but it is not guaranteed to yield a result unless certain conditions are met. I just use a cubic to illustrate that the usual approaches for quadratics and linear equations will unlikely work. It is a nice introduction to the topic.

Yes good question. So sometimes it can be n+1 and n to mean current term and next term or n can be current term and n-1 would be the previous term. It works in the same way

These equations will not factorise. The question will want you to use the given iterative formula.
