Ha. You have to turn the cap clockwise to release the barrel capture. I've owned one since I was twelve. Never had the cracking problem you speak of . Now mine is a 20 ga and that might have something to do with. It's a dove murdering beast.
I believe you are not talking fair. Ria tpas is cnc machined to the tight tolerances. It is a old design produced with hight tech equipment. Just look at space craft guns that derya arms produces in their web site and from youtube. Just look at their excellence and then talk about low quality. Your review is not complete, to say low quality, you should hava taken a look at both internals.
@nathanruben-tv5lf I mean I don't think I ever said it was a bad gun. I just don't think it is as well made as an older Ithaca. That is not to say it is low quality though. I do really like the gun. It's one of my favorite shotguns in fact.
