As a STAY, it hurts me to hear their parts bc I've done some research to learn about what they've gone through in the kpop community. Let me just say that they have gotten EXTREME levels of hate for mind-blowing reasons ( i.e. the fact that they're short, the fact that changbin has muscles, their music, etc. Felix and hyunjin have even gotten death threats). The lyrics they write in songs like this, cheese, thunderous, mountains, stray kids unveil, why?, etc., are no joke. They know all about struggling to succeed in hostile environments while trying to remain true to themselves😢. I wish there were more people like stray kids (and like you) in this world❤.

*Big Hugs to you* I understand health issues all to well.. had major neck surgery 4 yrs ago.. diagnosed with a hormone disorder & bad Anxiety shortly after that.. just went through surgery on my ankle 2 months ago and waiting for surgery again next year... Stray Kids & Ateez get me through my days and calm my mind.. I'd love to see you react to Cover me.. i had that song on a repeated loop when that album dropped.. Spotify even told me i listened to it 634 times since November

I suffer from many health problems. Currently, I’ve had to make severe, dietary and exercise changes. I work 2 jobs and I am going through some issues with management at my full time job. I helped take of my grandma and now taking care of my parents. Ever since finding K-pop, music has become a major therapy for me! I have no problems finding just the right music to play for what ever mood I’m in. Things will get better for you, just take your time and don’t overwhelm yourself. We will be here for you!

I just want to recommend this song to you. Not for you to react to, just for you. I'm a divorced single mom with a child going into a very prestigious digital arts school this fall and i myself have a very complex job dealing with finance and law. So i know about stress and having to watch out for your health. I'm also helping my mom thru dementia, all at the same time. I'd like you to listen to Epiphany by Jin of BTS. The lyrics are so beautiful and help you learn to put yourself first. If you don't take the time to truly rest and take care of you, you aren't going to be able to take care of your family and community. It's time to put yourself and your health first. Another one I recommend is Blue and Grey by BTS which they put out on their BE album during COVID in 2020. It teaches that sometimes things REALLY ARE THAT HEAVY and before you can pick yourself up and push thru YET AGAIN, sometimes you have to acknowledge that you're tired or you're sad or you need to ask for help. It says that it's ok to cry. It doesn't mean give up, but to listen to your body and actually give it the rest and care it needs instead of just continuing to push thru on fumes. It's ok to say that something is heavy, or that you're scared, that you really are Blue & Grey. I think in America we're taught that it's a sin to stop grinding for even a minute, even though what we're grinding is our own physical, mental, and emotional health until something gives and breaks. I started crying after the first 4 lines of that song and realized i hadn't allowed myself time to cry like that for years. I didn't have the time. I hope these songs can help with your healing. I understand it hits you more when you understand the lyrics directly by being in English, but consider this: just like you said-people from all walks of life and region struggle. Isn’t it wonderful that Lil Durk & Stray Kids were able to directly bring these feelings you experience from this song to a whole other country and group of people? I’d have never heard this song otherwise. It’s not that I don’t enjoy this music (because I do), but it’s not what I gravitate towards on the daily. I play my playlist instead. Any new music I’m introduced to comes from friend recommendations or my favored artists. Much love and wishes for improved health.

I've struggled my whole life lost my mom, all my grandparents, brother, and God parents before I was 30. So I feel you man, sometimes it's okay to be selfish. It took me a long time to learn that.
1 Artist i think you would really like is BIBI she is a k-soloist, her music is very unique and so is her voice there is really no one like her she is doing her own thing and don't give no f's which i respect a lot specially in the Korean music industry, where artist can get a lot of backlash for speaking out on things and standing out too much. Her music features various genres, including R&B, soul, hip hop, and ballads. Rather than focusing on dealing with beautiful things beautifully, her music focuses on beautifully sublimating beautiful sorrows and pains alienated and hidden from the world.
