Uhhhh… didn’t all those other companies that are now in bankruptcy ALSO tell their customers that “the funds are safe, trust us”? Do they disclose and prove that funds aren’t co-mingled or do we just have to believe them?

Another great vid, Aaron. I've been with ITC for a couple years now and can vouch for them. They used to charge $35/mo for each account (I have a SEP and Roth) plus their 1% vig, but guess they stopped the monthly last year or so.

Does there terms of service have similar wording to FTX and Celsius where once purchased, the crypto belongs to the estate?

If I will let another company take custody, then I'd rather use traditional brokerages and ETFs, without the 1% fee. I don't need to trade on weekends.

Very good video. QUESTION: I retired last week at 73 and have the option of rolling over part of my pension in to a Roth IRA. If I immediately buy crypto with Itrust (if I decide to use them) and want to take profits at some point, how long do I have to wait to cash out? Or does the dollar amount of profit have to remain in the account for a minimum amount of time? Thanks.

Swan also offers IRA's as well. And so do a few others. Do your own research. But the tax free withdrawals are the biggest advantages of ROTH IRA's Right now the 1% fee is a lot. Unlike stock based IRA's with traditional firms where you pay zero fees. But the big banks are about to get into the crypto business. And as with anything in life, the more competition the lower the price. So I see fees going down in the future, to possibly zero as well. And the banks will make their money on the spreads like they do now with stocks. Thanks as always Aaron. And safe trading folks.

Why not just stick with fidelity

Is there any way to hold your keys? Trade on an a CEX? What happens if bankruptcy? What is the actual spread from Coinbase price? What is settlement time for market orders? One IRA says "within 24 hrs" meaning you get the worst price in a 24 hr window which is insanity.

I don’t like their minimum amount of $500 deposits…yuck! I do use them but they aren’t for trading . Plus, the coins they offer are legacy mostly…old dogs, but still works.

1% is to much for the limited # of choices is not good. I will stick with a full blown brokerage account IRA, and buy miners, options, ETFs, other stocks, ect. ect.
