In 50 years of watching speedway I have never seen a track record broken that late in a meeting, nor have I seen a rider break a record whilst doing wheelies over the line etc.
NO WAY was that a track record, something seriously wrong with the time keeping here!!!! When was the last time a track record went in heat 13 on any track??? Slick track and a worn tyre equals more speed ?? And he was riding the outside [ longer] line. This needs to be looked at closely. My timing was over the one minute mark, therefore NO RECORD was broken.
