as usual, Alex has a stupid idea. what we have needed for 5 years is either a dev-controlled "T3 equivalent" boost selector, or a user-set (maybe earned/graded through that thing where you buy special icons) T2 buff you can move around each week, or maybe daily. If the second idea, it could be a straight damage boost that has a dev-set (%) value that varies per character or changes with how many people are equipped to that chararcter. By dev-set, I mean that Fandral might get 600% but setting it on a T2 Jean might be 60%. The number wouldn't be secret, it would show before selecting. This could scale with your participation in that thing... that one where you can buy custom Icons. So it would max when you finish that, for the duration of the update. I prefer "choice" of who you put your boost (or 2 or 3 of them) on, waaaay over just having devs choose who is boosted. Then after some test months, they could sell (cough), I mean setup a T3 buff choice to make someone close to a T4. So an example implementation would work like this.. you choose/set your boost "halo" on your weird fav char, lets say Fandral and as you select it shows the current boost % for all characters. You start at the beginning of the update at 30% of the boost with that Thing Where You buy Icons at step 1, and when you finish step 50 (or is it 70?) you are at 100%. (I never pay attention to that Thing, except to click "Collect All" before it ends.) So for Fandral a 600% boost might get him equal to average trancended/T3. You basically got to finish that Thing, which takes a week+, but then for the rest of the update you can use Fandral for real content. (AND your HALO character can do ABL/ABX or Dormammu) Let's say Red Hulk needs only 400% boost to be T3 Equivalent, so when selecting, 400% is shown, where Fandral shows 600%. More: The Halo is resettable each week, perhaps according to something done, like how you earn 30 crystals in the daily tasks each week. It could be in the task rewards instead of 45 skip tickets for example. It could be an item that sits in Inbox then with 6 days to expire. The best implementation BY FAR would be to make this dynamic according to how many users choose a character. Meaning, how much boost you actually get would depend on how many choose the character you boost. 1)It would give real-time feedback to devs about what we prefer, although they could misinterpret liking a uniform's playstyle or NEEDING that char for ABX support (this is also showing game weakness if everyone is choosing the same thing), for actually LIKING the character. At the least it creates something they could watch. 2)This could give some of us a sense of pride if we choose a very rarely used char like Yellow Jacket and he gets even more boost because no one chooses him. At the least this gives everyone stuff to talk about, if they engage socially about the game anywhere online. IMO a huge weakness in this and most paygo gaming is the "meta" where everyone does the same thing all the time. How cool would it be to see a "Halo" icon on some Fandral drop into GBR and whip it? You know people would max loser characters and run them like that. All play and all growth and all discussion (and all fun had) is ultimately monetizable. But yeah, I got nothing good to say about Gorillalex' idea. It sucks. Nearly all his ideas do, and I disagree 75+% of the time when the headlight flickers on in there. He just wants MASSIVE power creep ALL THE TIME so he can make easy videos. Biggest problem with game is it pretends to be super tiny on the phone (like 100Mb) and if your phone is almost full it deletes a 2.5Gb download every time you close the app. It should be more like 1.5Gb with 1Gb or less stored as extra files. What a pain in the arse! Second problem is that if you have less than a TOP OF THE LINE superphone, all video modes lower than BEAST lag and show partial animations, or on iPad/iPhone, the whole app crashes. Currently I play on IOS, but for all serious/team content (except ABX which works) I now use a crappy Samsung doing 3fps and getting maybe 50% damage. "If you aren't a whale, I guess you can quit" is what NM are actually doing for last 5 years. Sure 99% of whales have $2000 phones, but how many players who would spend don't? 99% of superphone players don't play MFF, and there are much more amazing max-res graphics games out there for them. MFF is a game that LOOKS like it is meant to play on normal iPhones and 2-3 year old phones, but it sucks if you try it.
They want to dilute the pool with useless characters in story mode so you get less fragments, therefore less high tier rewards therefore forcing you to spend. It's simple enough.
Honestly, I don't think it's that big of a deal. It'd be great if they properly updated everyone in a timely way, but it's not like it's having an effect on the game as is. There are a few characters that NEED to be T3'd/transcended ASAP, namely, all premium characters, and characters like Black Cat that have a pay uniform. But Whiplash? Hulkling? Meh. The faster they T3/Transcend those characters that's more crappy characters that will be added to Story Mode and poop up the Artifact pool. I'd rather they have dedicated upgrades with uniforms. Having to waste materials on crappy characters that can't even autoclear Story Mode is a pain in the butt. Since they're generally releasing new characters WITH their T3/transcend, the number of characters that will be left at T2 won't increase, it'll gradually decline.
Yes. "Alex discovers a Non-problem" would be a better title. I agree the paywall characters should be getting T3s by now, but that will be a boring update for low-spenders. Fair though.
They had an opportunity 2 thematically give an Awakening to both gorilla man and warwolf when they introduced man thing to the game. Then with the last update for Loki they could have thematically given the warriors 3 and Awakening. And with the last update they could have finished off the inhumans by giving them a team awakening.... What they need to do is bring back those Awakening tokens that lets you get their gears to 25 for one token per level. Do One update this year where we can get these characters gears up to transcend them with 1 gold
Scariest thing for 2024: the natural t3 cost to get them to t4 for f2p players. It's going to take 2-3 months to do. Considerimg it's about 40-45 days to bring a normal toon to t4. It took me near 2 mo ths for Adam Warlock, especially with the crap rng I got on his gear (high 20's and even 30's). As much as I would lime to get sentry on mephisto to T4, the cost/time it will take will most probably have me drop the game.
Took me extremely long to get scarlet witch to tier 3 im talking about maybe like 8 months or even more if we take out consistently and im not a complete free to play player. I’ve played for so many years and I haven’t unlocked any high end world boss.. I think im in thanos level 20 something 😢
@@jefe-I left after endgame and came back 6 months ago and i just need to t3/transcend a few supports to have at least 3 complete teams for WBL (I purchased 3 stark stachs because my account was totally outdated, and spend everything I made during Black Friday) I think you should set a plan or something.
Found the one thing Kahori is good for... she has cosmic cube ability so you can finally get that last box check on that dimension mission without having to buy a useless costume
I'd stagger the remaining 60 toons to t3/transsendance by grouping. Asguardians and fix the tags. Not all asguardians at tags as so. 2 wks later Mutants 2 wks GOTG and fix tags 2 wks "Heroes for Hire" and give out Defender tags for hellcat and misty knight etc Etc etc. Just seems easier and cleaner to do it by grouping then just a mass dump
I won't mind the mass transcended strategy if they actually put a little effort into the abilities. Like theyre already not getting uniforms so they need to have thematic and cool skills at least.
this is a non issue for me. They are updating T3/awakening enough per update. The only issue is introducing a character and leaving them at T2. You can't complain that they are introducing T2 character that stay at T2 while complaining about this, its not possible to do both or else you will complain either 1. they are awakening character and not giving unis 2 the unis or upgrade are not good which will be due to them to piling characters to T3/awakening. this is NOT an issue to me, they should spend them updating the characters that are upgraded and not pile them to next stage to meet stats. what are we going to do with useless characters just being pushed to the next stages? and when they push all to T3/awakened, what are we going to be doing in each update, when there is no more character to update to T3/awakened? 5 T4s per update, where are we going to get the materials for that?
First we cry about transcending with no uniform, now we cry about not transcending enough! 😅 I been saying for 18 months to bring on transcendence for every character left. They’re usable then, and totally useless at T2.
I thought about M'baku getting transcended along with killmonger and Klau when BP2 main update dropped, netmarble didn't do shxt with them is really the most ridiculous thing to me
As long as it’s not in lieu of new characters, I totally agree with plowing through with additional transcended characters. Let’s just get that over with.
As much as I'd love to simply be able to use dazzler in wbl it still bothers me when characters get a tier bump without a uniform. I don't even care if the uniform is or isn't meta, I just want a change of look and skills. I understand though it takes time to develop these things and they can't create uniforms that won't sell much because they're not meta, so I'm guessing that's what's happening lately. The game isn't as popular anymore, and the days of getting 5-6 uniforms + new characters every update are gone
Back in the day t2 was the max the characters only used to get uniforms with skill upgrades they should have given all the characters T3 or TP b4 they started the t4 upgrades
The devs are watching this video and are going to drop 50 new uniformless TP toons next update and then 10 t3 with recolored skins and the same t3 skill animation for all of them. Sarcasm, but honestly it would atleast put us back on track to have toons get meaningful updates on every update
and adding another layer to the issue, it doesn't matter if how many characters got unlock T3 or transcendence if they still are trash and un-usable for 95% of the current content. And almost all rewards in game are the same from the last 5 years, is this because there are so many characters stuck in T2? Or because the game is abandoned and you basically do auto farming every single day hoping that eventually something good happen [and it doesn't]?
Honestly not that big of a problem. Taking time means the game has more time to be around. Plus for newer people they probably don't have all the characters tier 2 yet.
i get what you're saying, but this a non-issue for me. i can't t3 every character in the game and i assume i'm not the only one. and i don't see how a bunch of unusable t3/tp characters are any better than a bunch of unusable t2 characters
Alex Rogue t2 passive seems not working properly my rogue has rage ctp , the ignore damage decreas 60% is going up to 72%. But in ABL after the first surturs phase cancel it goes back to 60%. Which means her t2 passive is been removed
Let’s not even talk about Zemo or Black Cat who got uniforms even a seasonal that’s 3 years old and in some situations a META lead/support or paywall (character/uniform)and still stuck a T2 absolutely nuts 🥜 🌰 🔩
Given T2's are being ignored. They need to stop releasing new Characters who are stuck at T2. They had a good chance of T3'ing or Transcending M'Baku and Killmonger with Black Panther's T4, but they missed it by a long shot.
I don't get what the big deal is.... updates would suck if everyone was T3 or transcended already because then there would only be one character getting an upgrade every update. (The tier 4) I was never upset when t4 came out and everyone wasn't t3 or transcended. Because I saw that they needed to still have T2s to give upgrades to so the updates didn't suck. Who cares if it takes 2 more years. I guarantee if they upgraded everyone to t3 and transcended tomorrow. Everyone would either A: complain only 1 character is getting an upgrade each update or B. They would upgrade 4 chars to T4 every upgrade and ppl would complain they aren't getting enough T4 materials lol. And C. T4s wouldn't even be relevant for content very long because they would be overshadowed sooooo quickly by the flood of T4s coming out. If they are smart. T5 will come out the same update as the last T2's get T3/transcended. .. then they can upgrade a char to T5 and 3-4 chars can get T4.
Not really, an epic quest could be with existing characters (say mutants) and the quest is about their story and upgrading them... They could do Fantomex, Omega Red, Bishop, Jubilee, Rachel Summers, Negasonic, etc. That would be fun and at the same time great for upgrading the characters.
"Could be" that was never the case ever before, why would they pass on the chance of selling you new and expensive characters to build up? Make no sense.
Teir 4 was done too early… we still can’t do World Boss 5 times AND WBL 5 times just to progress and keep up in a way. Teir 4 should have came this year…
That's why dev should come to realization not all of the character will be upgraded to the highest levels till the game dies and introduce some challenge mode to use them. For the players that will clear high end-content daily the additional entries could be unlocked for the lower-end characters.} F.e After you clear 5 World Boss Legend, there is challenge mode unlocked - additional 5 entries for World Boss Ultimate for characters lvl 70 or LOWER - After 5 clears one tittan book guaranteed or 50 Carbonadium, after 35 clears one Odin Blessing guaranteed. Or After you Clear Dormamuu, challenge Mode unlocked for Galactus for lvl 70 or lower characters with additional limit of 50 Flames of Falltine.
when they introduced T4 in the game even I have so many decent char back then I quit because I felt left behind in this game and what you have said is there's so many characters that needs to get rework by t3 and transcendence and also when an MCU update they are missing within example black panther suri they took months to have that uniform and Loki season 2 they didn't even released Loki true uniform so it kinda suck that netmarble feels so lazy to this in a game..
Every update inludes 2 t3s and a transcend skill which can cover upto 3 characters. Assuming that the new character get t3 and the other is an existing t3, 3 characters per update will get the rank up. For epic quest update maybe 1 existing character will get rework but lets say that there is a shield update, they can give 5-6 characters a sinister six type skill. I expect that they'll rank up 35+ characters this year and likely around 10th anniversary they'll give random copy paste skills to all the ones that are left like they did when they wanted to give them all t2 in 2017
Honestly I think that’s a big reason why updates seem so lame…because you have one single character getting a T4 upgrade and 50% of the time it seems like it isn’t even a Meta T4 upgrade or at least worthy of players investment. Combined with a single T3 that may be decent if it has a support or leadership buff and a few transcendence that usually are just throw aways.

CaponeActual I want the TP/AP toons 6th skill to be shortened to no more than 15 seconds. I fucking hate TP toons because of that 30-second wait. I want them to drop T3/TP/AP all at once too!!! I like this math problem. I post about it a lot. 3 T3 and TP a month comes out to 21 months or 2 years. I do not want to wait that long. I don't want new players to wait that long. I want more new players too. Brings more money to the game. The game has to fix its building and acquisition rate all around. I want them to get through the T2 faster and I'm going to want them to do more T4 when that's all that is left. I will want 4-6 a month maybe more. That means they're gonna have to increase the drops and stop locking the T4 materials behind the mode stores and pay stores. What do you think about achievements? That's where I am heavily focused. I can only do what they allow me to do in a day. I wish they would count all my runs for all modes so I can clear the achievements faster. You mean quality I think? I haven't seen the numbers but I know 2022 for now represented Netmarbles biggest losses, like not good at all. Contractuals being what they are and 2023 did not perhaps produce the best content on the other end for them to work with. At least not in comparison to the big Avengers movies releases. On the other end articles (this is mostly for clicks, let's be honest) say "the MCU is dead". The reason is because because the films in 2023 are not as beloved as say Avengers Endgame. Yet? Across The Spider-Verse was huge. Loki Season 2 ended with a great reception. So did Netmarble capitalize on that? Were they allowed to even? And this is a question of course because the MCU slate for 2024 is dialed way back. Disney knows a lot of insider info and when I see them make moves like this it makes uneasy. Why does Disney think there will be less people packing theaters in 2024? Yet that insist people being inside and playing games, right? Anyway over to MFF. Lack of promotional material to work with. Echo soon, they didn't drop Loki until right around the last episode? Deadpool 3. That's their big get imo. Wolverine and Deadpool are stupid popular so if they promote this enough they can bring in users. Madame Web? Okay that was one of my favorite comics but I know that ain't popular and even as a fan I'm not excited about that film. Leaving them with comics I guess so look to the solicits. Really that does mean they have an opportunity instead to make something unique that draws in players. They have the talent imo, their artists especially but I suppose this is on them. Their marketing make little sense to me beyond meeting the licensing requirements and appealing to their Korean market (they should push this harder, there's a huge following in the US and UK of this type of thing). Promotion though. Not some dead in the water Twitter account alone. There needs to be ads in the comics. There needs to be ads on those comic fandom sites. They need to do interviews with those people. Get this game in front of new eyes and of course new money. Do something dynamic that get's people talking and going "Wow! Marvel Future Fight! Have you played this yet?". The salesperson in me can't understand them and that includes when I sold these very licensed products. I would have been laid-off if I wasn't working it. So game mechanics. Yeah I'll just repeat myself. They should have already implemented a universal scaling system like most games have. Not trickle one updated shite character at a time, but all the characters that file under "X=current level". And as before what I think is happening is this is a marketing move, a bad one, where they believe they should drip drop updates to string along invested players. But players are not dumb and know games better than much else. There is always the competitors game to play should this become boring. I mean who wants to wait and log in every day to say get an update on one single Agent Of Shield a month and half or so later? No one because who cares about say Daisy Johnson. Else drops. Should be easy. Look at the levels with goosegg rewards. Change them all. Give players a reason to play them again. Better drops and daily rewards and so, frequently. Give people tickets more often. There's no loss there. All that does it get players more invested and thus the more they invest in the game. But as above they NEED something interesting. Something unique that creates a buzz. A reason to play this game and not the others. And looking at this year....*shrug*. Well they're going to do as they do. So back over in game I'm getting garbage rolls in Cosmic Core. Oh well. I don't think we're supposed to get it both ways (ayo). We either get less new characters, or less existing T2s get upgraded. Complaining on both fronts makes no sense, since one side is supposed to happen.
I would just like to see them t3 characters that you work for in epic quests like gladiator. It shouldn't have taken as long as it did for stryfe. You work to get all the characters to get them then they stay t2 and weren't worth it???? What about a great lead/support that you pay for a seasonal uni for in black cat? WHY IS SHE STILL ONLY T2 DEVS!!

How does gladiator not have T3?? That’s wild and he was an epic quest collection character. Not cool. Such a great character. Give him the “Majestor” Gladiator uniform from Hickman universe/ Secret Wars.
Part of me would rather just keep them as they are then have a slew of, well Lizard for example. Yeah, he is transcended, but that uni and the skills attached are still garbage.

I think they need to stop releasing uniforms for t3 and transcended characters, t4s are too dominant and unless your character has support value they are legit useless. Just take the time used for uniforms and pump it into mass releasing t3s and potential characters, theyr going to be shit either way so doesn’t matter. Focus on one t4 uni per upgrade and the rest is just fodder so that the game becomes a bit more evenly footed
Most of these T2 characters aren't strong in the comics, maybe it would be better to just have a game mode that they can be used in. These T2s would get destroyed in the comics by some of these marvel characters. They really underpowered a lot of the meta characters like Apocalypse who should be a huge factor in this game
Dont think theres any marvel movies this year so we not gettting any unis for that but this year they need to leave the originals alone (ironman, capt. Black widow ect.) And work on the ones that they havent touched at all.
The bad thing would be that just awakening/t3 everyone indiscriminately would completely fucked up story fragment farming and dilute the pool of good artifacts.
Mass upgrading all the tier 2 characters is pointless if there is no propper place to use them, like you tier 3 songbird and then what? What are you even gonna use her for? She sucks. there are characters in mff so freaking bad that i think even if they had 200k atk they would still suck.

The game isnt going to nake it another 6 yrs, let alone the 60 characters left will no way make t3, they will ha e 2 transcend 3 a month to make a difference
There is nothing to do with all those characters anyway and Story mode would force a lot of players to get crappy Transcended characters, so I don't really care to see ever T2 getting an advancement.
