I'm glad it looks like anime-onlies seem to like this episode for the most part. Some of us manga readers were worried that too much got skipped for the episode to feel impactful but idk it looks like the episode was still pretty loved

thats how you know the cuts are decent cause cuts can't be avoided and it's up to the director and and scriptwriter to make sure that the episode stays cohesive and impactful. Most of us manga readers focus too much on the cuts that's why we think the episode might be bad but in reality if we see it through the eyes of an anime only who is experiencing this separately and newly we will realize that the episode was awesome

Honestly part of me is happy that I didnt reallize this at that time (probs coz when s03 was airing I was very busy and only watched the best episodes and skipped through others meaning I didnt fully pay attention to AOT since s02)....do yall know what kind of a heartattack it was to realize its Eren together with Reiner?
