Great ending although her empathy was totally frustrating. Never have sympathy for the devil. And never take abuse from a boyfriend or spouse, especially physical abuse. That animal, that demon she called husband, got off easy. Anyone who encourages or advises you to stay in any abusive situation, friend, parent, in-law, pastor, etc. is NOT your friend. Don't listen to them. Run for you life. Maurice wears the hero persona well.
