Theroy: I feel like the 'misfit' class is handpicked, carefully chosen as the likely candidates for the future 13 crowns (or mighty figures), likely being Sullivan's idea. Because the traits and powers they posess is too special and coincidential that they are all in the same class. I will bet my money that Sullivan is behind this, carefully making sure that the next gen of the crown 13 are together and under the guidance of Kalego. Adding the human Iruma definitely shaped their demon values, perhaps unconsiously. A good example is Sabro, he was once just a hot headed demon who didn't care about anyone as long as he's the demon king, after spending time with Iruma, man has definitely shaped up, (like when he bowed down in respect to the teacher he attacked or when he stopped Asmodeous from rushing into the fight at Walter park). This can definitely be seen in everyone from the class. Adding a human to the class helped them unleash better versions of themselves and recognise the "human trait" of 'team work' (from the looks of it, thats definitely lacking in the current 13 crowns). As often said, demons manipulate and only think of themselves, but clearly in the harvest fest arc, they all worked together. This is the bandment that Sullivan trusted Iruma with. Especially considering that we as the viewers know they will be the future 13 crowns. The fact that they are pushed a lot harder and always set in the center I feel like is really testing their abilities. 🤔🤔
I think this theory is very plausible. I thought the same thing but with regards to returning to the origins instead. For me, maybe sullivan picked demons that had potential but were possible to go down the wrong path. An example is iruma stated outright during the royal one arc that the misfits were “ripe for primordial regression” My theory is sullivan picked those demons because he knew they had potential AND that iruma could guide them away from primordial regression. For me this fits Sullivans attitude of reforming and educating demons. As well as the central theme of desire and ambition. Tho I must say, it is so suspicious that theres 13 members of the misfit class HAHAHAH

I do believe this is a tactic for Sullivan to nurture demons with 'potential' this follows with the trickstar plan well? Whats your thoughts?

How do you think the quantity of magic effects verbal and non verbal magic. Afterall iruma changing the settings on his ring seem to do more than just make them stronger but also changes aspects of the spell. (Changes colour of la fire, summons dragons around the dodgeball spell) is this just cosmetic or do you think that increasing the mana consumption creates fundimantally better spells?
Good question, definitely dont think its cosmetic since we saw it with zeze that high level spells require high level mana. Its hard to say how magic quantity works exactly because we saw how the gluttony ring did not affect sullivan in any way while it rekt asmodeous which means mana depletion is a real thing and that powerful demons have more mana. Its also hard to tell with Iruma exactly what is the correlations since we dont know if he is a suitable comparison point given that hes human. If I had to make a theory, I would say Mana is probably correlated to desire/vision. The more mana you have, the closer you can have your magic be to your vision. This means that while having strong desire is important, its not the only aspect to power.
I believe it's based on ranks and percentage of power. Irumas libera dragon grew in power when Iruma cast Pandora by releasing all of Sullivans magic simultaneously. And that was his Bet rank. We even got a glimpse of how much mana Iruma can unleash when his ring swallowed even magic to destroy half of Walter Park in his Gimel rank. Assuming Walter park is bigger than two Bablys, we can bet hes twice as powerful than he was during the Battler Arc.

This was a good video What do you think might be a sort of Weakness for Ameri if she was to lose somehow, I am curious to know for her bloodline magic Familiars, since they are connected with their master Is Ifrit sensei's fire stronger than Azz's blue fire magic and somehow, he mentioned a Djinn named Ifrit but what does that mean exactly. Kalego said that his bloodline magic is Kerberion but how does it work, does it act as some kind of sentient creature of sorts. by the way I need to ask you something, do you think Demons in this series are vulnerable to holy things like crosses or even weapons. What kind of bloodline magic should Iruma get if he ever had one, my vote is Gluttony magic which is your top favorite Magic ability
Thank you! Product of many many hours! I think Ameri’s bloodline magics weakness is fear. The moment she doubts herself, she will crumble. Its quiet a nice callback actually during the student council president arc because we saw Ameri’s doubts laid out. Ameri knows shes strong, shes self assured about her worth in terms of intelligence, her charisma, her ability to lead, etc. We saw her literally as unfallable, she is able to act with assuredness during the batra incident, she was able to decide swiftly on the student who was on their devil phase, etc. The one place she is weak is Love. She feels shes too tall, to masculine, too much- a sentiment most women in power feel but Iruma assures her that he (the one she loves) thinks she doesnt to change and what she perceives as her weaknesses are not. I think this is really amazingly done by nishi, this power later pushes her as she defeats the monster singing along to the song about a maiden in love. Her crush actually isnt just one way, in the way she is the first one to inspire iruma by telling him to go up the ranks, iruma also inspires her. Truly well written.
Familiars, not really sure what Ameri’s familiar would be. I suspect its something like jazz where its hard on the outside but a friggin cutie pie inside. Maybe its even a cat? HAHAH Kalegos bloodline cerberion is a sentient creature. It was explained that cerberion is so hostile that it made it impossible for kalego to have a familiar. Its also quiet fitting because kalego is the guard of babylus, a post he inherited from his line. All the naberius clan are guard dogs of something and he is of babylus. It makes sense since how can he be expected to guard the school if he cannot even take control of his familiar, of his own magic- its like a test of will with how far youre willing to go to protect something.
I dont know if Nishi will be taking the religious angle. I doubt it since Welcome to Demon school is less a commentary on society and morality but more of a journey of oneself. Its about your desire and vision, how you would enact your will. Religion I feel is too controversial, its man made and the having the demons be “bad” in general- hence why the artifacts would work, seems to run against the theme.
Favorite magic ability, story wise its definately Ameri’s since its cool and fits her well. For like personal like what id wish mine was, id definitely think claras has the most potential. Its not like just making things, she has access to a different dimension essentially.

Here’s my take on this but with the Six Fingers. Assuming that each of six fingers helped to form the magical beasts (1+2 = carmine dragon, 3+4 = yellow mouse and 5+6 = mountain blue) we can reasonably use them to somewhat scale to the Six Fingers (sort of). The issue arises when we look at the other characters in the show. We, at bare minimum, know that the tiny butler (the third finger) is a 7 in terms of power levels as he was able to take down Triton the handshaker who is a 7. Assuming the six fingers go by who is stronger, that would make the first and second finger above this and the rest below. The problem is is that Ameri, a level 6 demon, was able to take down the Yellow mouse which had mana directly from the third finger so does that make him weaker than Triton and, if so, was his bloodline ability just a perfect counter to Triton’s? Here’s how I see it. The rank system in “Demon School Iruma-kun” doesn’t just take into account raw power, it also takes into account the users other states like durability, speed and intelligence. The monsters that rampaged were probably weaker than their creators (which is probably a good thing just in case the ever get attacked by their own creations) so their probably a rank or so higher than their beasts would be. The first and second finger are probably around the strength of Balam, Opera or Kalego given that Balam and Kalego are the same rank and Opera is older than the both of them. Also, assuming that the rank in 6 fingers does go by strength, their boss (Kiriwo’s “big bro”) is around an 8 and he’s probably more powerful than all of them. The third and fourth finger are probably around a 7 as the third was able to take down Triton who is of the same level as that and Ameri, whilst she did take down the mouse beast, she didn’t one shot it like Opera most likely would’ve done had he been the one to fight it The fifth and sixth fingers are probably a 6 or 7 as the mountain blue was nearly incapacitated by a bunk of low level demons (a 3 and three 2’s). TLDR: I did WAY to much research for a RU-vid comment
Nah man, its cool, I love the research you put into it! Tbh I think Baal is probably a 9 since he is a 13 crowns. However, I dont think that the 6 fingers are necessarily ranked by strength, I think its more by skills. An organization like the 6 fingers would need infiltration skills more than strength so just like Kiriwo, they dont need to be strong but smart. Also hard to ascertain the scale you said since it wasnt shown in detail who defeated who and if they did so completely alone and without a plan in motion so id say its not accurate. Another thing is, rank is not scalable since many characters decide not to rank up like Sullivan or say asmodeous-kun who was already said to be higher than rank 4 by ifrit-sensei. I think also that rank takes into account even charisma since ronove is rank 5 but his fighting ability is not shown to be anything special. By that measure, just saying that because they defeated a monster of x level makes them x level doesnt really track, I mean fighting ability doesnt determine overall strength since ranking up also isnt determined by fighting alone. I think its not gonna be fruitful to try to measure rank hahah since it seems arbitrary much like bounty in one piece also doesnt correlate to battle strength.

Tbh, I did not like clara in the first appearance but after like she integrates into the cast, I LOVE HER! Thanks for the question, I think fairytail would belong to the unique common style indeed since I believe everyone can use magic in the world. Its a little bit tricky because I dont recall if it was explicitly mentioned that EVERYONE had a capacity for magic. However, I do believe that once you chose and learned the magic that you will use, you wont be able to use another persons magic but youll still be able to do basic transforming into people, using magic automobiles, etc etc . so unique common totally fits!

@@azazelamerianime I have been think about the whole familiars aspect of magic in WDSIK and that due to jazz's and Iruma's are more of a cute form but jazz's familiar is suppose to be cool looking and Kalego's familiar form made him cute but during Jazz day in the limelight chapter it's been hinted at both jazz's familiar, and kalego's familiar form are more of a baby form of their species and might evolve into a stronger form but stay in that form when after evolving for jazz's basically what was in the book but for Kalego it would be a humanoid raven/dog based around Cerberus

Makes you think he’s gonna end up being that generic rival douche but ends up being a motivational rival that has big brother vibes. He’s well developed and I wouldn’t complain if he becomes the next demon king or shares the title with Iruma. One of my favorites in the universe of many others, long live Sabro
