True. But it isn't just inflation. If they were experts at everything else (which is impossible), and so assumed they were also experts at inflation, I could almost understand.

💯 I'm in Australia. I've argued with many Trump supporters online and they refuse to believe that inflation is high everywhere because of COVID and the war in Europe, and that the US has in fact done better than everywhere else in terms of recovery. They simply don't understand basic economics. I'm not sure what they teach in school over there but it's incredibly upsetting to think these people could dunk the entire world into chaos and weaken the West permanently because they can't think long term, strategically, or globally, and don't understand basic things like inflation.

It isn't inflation, it is price gouging.
