I have 2 tips for you: 1: join a squadron by clicking on the “community” tab and click on the ones with green check marks. It doesn’t matter which one you pick but it will allow you to research the special “squadron” green background vehicles in the tech tree alongside the actual props you are researching as a bonus. 2: set controls for pitch as it will allow you to control the plane with only roll and pitch whilst you mouse is doing something else. This allows you to be looking at the enemy at all times with the mouse while not automatically turning around by accident. Like so yzeui can see

Pull in your combat flaps when flying straight. Having them extended slows you down.

@@ShawnF6FHellcat as an American main who also plays grab primarily those bombs were the mission because it the only easy way to bomb out some of the positions that made German tanks strong. But after getting used to the US guns I figured it out quickly.

Some things to note: 1. A biplane will always turn better than you, unless your in a biplane yourself. 2. The guns do feel really bad and do nothing up untill you get rank 2 planes. I would reccomend the A36 apache since it had 6, 12mm guns (known as .50 cals) 3. Try to keep your speed as high as possible while turn fighting since the slower your going the slower you turn, also dont have flaps extended all the time, only use them when you need the extra turning. 4. I reccomend you play arcade for a little to learn where to aim, relative to the enemy's speed, since it tells you wherr to aim. Those are all the facts i can think on the top of my head that could help you, i hope that you get better at the game, and could I please play with you?

American main here, I suggest you try and learn advantages and weaknesses of planes you struggle to kill. (not necessary, but it won't hurt) Good luck on the grind!

American tree takes sooooo long even sweden which I play has one of the shortest tech trees in the game still takes months ( I’m still only unlocking my first jet😂) so good luck on America! Also I reccomend arcade since your ammo does reload and you don’t just get one plane there are some other good things too though a lot of people prefer RB so your choice

Speed is your friend. Altitude = speed. Attack from above your enemy, then get your altitude back as soon as possible. More altitude = more options to maneuver.

When i watched the the "warthunder in trailmakers" video i got interested so i searched up t-34 on google (cuz it sas in the video) and found and watched the movie (even tho i don't know russian). That made me wanna battle with tanks so i downloaded warthunder, and a week later this video comes out. (Ps. One of the best video so far, keep up the good work💛💛)

Dont shoot till theyre .3 km away when coming from behind. And aim high and shoot early then roll away for head to head engagements. Those tips alone should help your game a ton.

Pro tip, play arcade to learn how to aim better it really helps also use stealth belts to improve your long time aim

Yzuei you should play arcade just to get a feel for how far u should pre-aim and get it into your muscle memory. You should also aim for upgrading your weaponry and getting ap and incendiary ap ammo so your hits actually do something when you get them. You can also upgrade your crew via training to improve performance for pretty cheap.

hey yzuei id recommend play arcade for early tiers because the early guns really dont do a lot of damage especially to bigger planes plus you can spawn multiple times

friendly tip: a good way to grind the early tiers is using bombers and gun targetting distance is usually best at 600 m anyway nice vid

Yzuei, I’ve been a fan of yours since your early days on trailmakers. I’ve also put a lot of time into warthunder.. around 500-600 hours or so. I’ve got to say, this game can be “fun” but it’s held back by the grindiest grind you’ll ever grind. Without spending money on premium or buying a premium plane, it will take an absurd amount of time to get to where you want. I’ve since uninstalled the game because the grind is just too much. You’re suppose to play a game to have fun, imo grinding that hard isn’t fun. Especially when you go to use a 500% booster and some chump shoots you down 2 minutes into the match. I wish you the best of luck on your grind, sir.

I wish you the best of luck. 2k hours and still playing due to the "snail".. Make sure to grind the tank tech tree, all of that awesome Close air support aircraft in the US Tech tree aren't there only for base bombing. (next snail victim)

Yzuei you should play on keyboard because it’s a lot easier to control I also recommend you to practice your aim in arcade battles and arcade shows you your crosshair changing color depending on the penetration possibility and automatic rangefinder in ground arcade

If you want to grid aircraft efficiently (which you should NOT, in addition to anything else in this game) your should stick to Arcade mode so don't spend %80 of a match in transit.
