Feels “gwaaay behttur”…shit brought the chicano out homey 😂 I feels you bro, I feel like a super hero on my SP2, but bish is hottie for sure especially in Texas heat. 🔥
Hi Mezz. Track and street rider here. For context, I ran in experienced group with RideSmart and I setup my bike myself. I had it gone over by a pro (OnRoad OffRoad Cycles) at Cresson, and all he did was add 2mm preload front and rear. I highly recommend getting your suspension setup properly, especially if you're riding hard. Fiddling with settings randomly can make a bike "feel better" but can also mess up the bike's balance without you noticing. Suspension on bikes is much more sensitive than cars. The front and rear work in tandem and any changes to either affects weight transfer to both ends. Be careful playing with rebound, especially rear rebound. Putting it as simply as possible; rebound is control over your traction and is not to be adjusted just for "stiffness". Even if your bike has 20 increments of adjustment for rebound, it only will work optimally in about 1/3 of that range. The order of importance in settings is preload (setting sag), rebound, & then compression. A few general rules of thumb if you're just playing with settings on the street; Adjust one setting at a time or at the very least only one end at a time. If adjusting comp and rebound on one end, rebound adjustments should be about half your comp adjustments. In this vid you've adjusted them equally, which will likely result in sub optimal performance. On high-end bikes with premium components, each increment of adjustment makes a bigger difference than on less expensive components. You've made rather large adjustments front and rear here, which completely changes a bike's handling; not really recommended if you plan on pushing hard. Ride safe out there. I'd also really like to know where those twisties are. :)
Thank you for the feedback! I agree with you 100. If i owned this bike. I would get professional help to get it adjusted but since i was just borrowing it for a couple days and mainly gonna do highway ridding i felt it was fine just to stiffing it up a bit. I appreciate your feedback sir! Ride safe and maybe I’ll see you at a ride smart event 🤝🏼
@@Zx10mezz footage on its own is 🔥🔥🔥 be waiting for the settings vid! I’d suggest the DJI Mic 2s? Get the pair and stick one in the helmet, the other under your passenger seat. Go safe big mezz
