If it's from a VHS copy, then it must have been an S-VHS machine, because I've never got a picture that sharp using standard equipment - I cut my finger on that video! Seriously, thank you for uploading these, as the usual lot that were doing the rounds online are, as I'm sure you know, copied from RealVideo copies, in a resolution and at a time when dial-up/ISDN was used.
ITV Schools on C4 really was the place where old pres went to die...'Thames Colour Production' in 1992, more than 3 years after they finally ditched it on ITV and only 1 month before they lost their franchise.
I guess it was more of a case of Thames leaving their end caps intact. Thames still used the Colour Production legend on their end caps until 1989, and repeats much longer. Thames’s Schools programmes were repeated into the Channel 4 Schools era, with end caps intact.
@@steviegTVreturns Their was a reason why Channel 4 left the Thames Colour Production endcap intact when repeating old episodes of The english programme , and it carry on into Channel 4 Schools. On ITV Schools on Channel 4 and S4C , Old episodes of maths are fun had a Granada ITV Schools endcap replacing The Granada endcap which was used as a frontcap which only says Granada. But i hope you can upload a full episode of Readabout with Michael Rosen if you are able to
