Okay, deep breath. ITZY is time traveling through history to fix something (related to sneakers) at the request of aliens from the future. The 1st era is victorian presented in the cinematic format with black bars at the top and bottom.. After they correct that they move on to late 60s early 70s mission control era, and the format goes to a slightly lower resolution 4:3 format to mimic the TVs of the day. They launch project sneakers, Ryujin opens this scene by closing the history book on their previous time jump (titled Queens Sneakers) after successfully launching (what I assume is the sneakers SAT) the mission they jump to the present day in the shoe store and wreck havoc. Then back to the future and the Aliens thank them before leaving in their alien sneaker space ships.. ITZY is also time traveling with the Album checkmate and returning to their debut theme and sound, but reminding us all with the video that they have progressed and matured in that theme and sound, but haven't abandoned it and can execute it and any other style they want to at any time. Because after all ITZY has everything we want, right? Music video was directed by a woman and has a very strong Women can lead, be in charge and shape history theme.
