i'm seriously considering changing my youtube channel name to liavuitton because i /think/ lia's my bias now...
i'm sorry for the audio that's out of sync with certain clips. idk why it's like that because when i was editing, it was fine. but as soon as i exported it, it was out of sync again.

She's straining herself in pre-debut footage, that's bad. For you it seemed good, but for her, that's dangerous and desperate. But she made huge comeback in Price Tag, she managed to split the works, so the throat wouldn't get tired easily. That's healthy, pleasing and sustainable at the same time.

Sight Field just because she has bad technique doesn’t mean she can’t sing. Rose from bp has bad technique still after debut but she can still sing. The way people sing rather than the sound it’s self differs from the “they just can’t sing” so even though she strained in pre debut she can still sing.

I think for their next comeback Lia needs a solo song, or maybe they could try a different music style to better suit her voice. She has a beautiful voice and I could listen to it all day 😩🤚🏻

I’ve noticed she seems to strain her voice in their live stages of Wannabe too. Even the radio appearance. I hope she’s able to get some real vocal coaching. Not sure how JYP does it nowadays, but they used to be known for this ridiculous half air technique. I don’t think that’s their standard anymore but I really hope Lia can get some real vocal coaching because her voice is absolutely beautiful. She’s similar to Seulgi in that they both have great lower registers, but with SM’s coaching Seulgi was able to improve her upper register greatly. Fingers crossed we get to see a similar improvement in Lia over time!

I think because Yeji has a very stable and strong voice, she has pressure to make her voice as loud as yeji’s, it’s kinda JYP style. I hope she can relax more in the future and reach those super high notes powerfully and with confidence without straining

She just need to be more stable while singing and dancing also she needs to work on her breath controle but her voice tone is BEAUTIFUL i love the sound of her voice. I think yeji technique is a little better like she’s better at controlling her voice and her breath while dancing but lia voice is just so beautiful but that’s my opinion

roni m i agree with you. I think people think Yeji has a better technique because she’s “stable” or louder but they don’t know that she tends to strain her voice and raises her larynx quite a lot. I feel JYP should give the girls and other groups proper vocal coaching. Both Lia and Yeji have great potential they just need the guidance to have a healthy vocal technique.
