The whole mv was basically a story of them getting away from all these personas that the people wanted for them to play. I wanna be me - that's the most important line not bc of how many times it's said in the song but it connects so much to the plot of the mv. Yeji proving that she's not just a robot dancer but she's liberally passionate about dancing which relates to the scene of her dancing. Ryujin is not just a typical badass girl that can rap, she's serious about her role in thw group and wants to show that she's committed and can offer more than just rapping but also can dance and sing. Lia is not just the typical pretty girl that the media and the people think of her. She's more than just a face and wants to show that despite of how the media and people thinks of her yeah she's pretty and she's owning it but she's talented too and wants to break that stereotype that is put upon her. Yuna is not just some sweet girl in the group and proves she can rap and sing. Her smile is deceiving in a good way meaning that sweet smile can also be a deadly smile depending on her role in the song. She can do more. Chae is literally running from plastic coats that is all replicas of each other. She's running from the sister image that media has put upon her. Remember she has a sister in izone. And she wants to be her. She wants to be her own person and not just be appreciated bc she has a sister in the industry as well. I may be wrong but this song is by far the most out there concept they have ever put out. Really putting it out there the concept of individually while blending perfectly as a group.

Also, since Coachella is delayed, I think it's a good time to check out more BigBang while we wait. Bae Bae is classic and right up your alley. Loser is awesome, more of a slow song but the video is one of the best.
