i admire yeji so much because of how she can have fun and joke around but knows that when there needs to be more effort or respect, she puts it in 100%. and all the other members listen to her well.

i love how yeji gently pulls the leader card and how other members are so well coordinate with her too. thats why yeji dont have to spend too much efforts to get everything fine
Yeji reminds me of CL and Namjoon in her leader style. She knows how to joke around and be silly with her members but when she needs to pull them in line it's always respected and not in a way that's over the top. Respect without making her members feel like they can't rely or go to her. Which is a tricky balance.

She cared about her members but after bom's scandal, they stopped their activity since then and each members decided to go on their way and as a solo and yet they kept be in touch with each other and still care for one another.
Yeji is the perfect leader, she knows how to balance having fun and being a professional plus the other members are really close with her while respecting her authority.

I think what makes yeji the perfect leader for itzy is that she’s very considerate of other people. She lets her member speak and if other members are not paying attention, she makes them listen to the member talking. I was specially touched when she asked the other members to listen to Ryujin who was trying to speak.
Yeji is such a good leader though, she knows when its time for playing around, and teasing and when its time to be quiet and respectful. Such a good leader and person in general.

yeji reminds me of scoups in the way that they both appear soft and not "leader-like" at a glance, but are the perfect person to both command a room when needed and have fun and goof around without it feeling off or uncomfortable (like sometimes when a teacher/adult trys to play w kids)

Yeji was actually scared to become/didn't want to become the leader of ITZY because she was afraid that her personality will hold the group back, but for me I think she is just doing her job! Yeji barely use her leader act and she even the one who got teased the most. All I see is Yeji is very patient and very tolerance, but sometimes as a leader, she needs to act as one when necessary. Itzy members always joking and sometimes they forgot and became too carried away, it's Yeji responsibility to handle the situation and sometimes they didn't listen because they all really close to each other to the point yeji needs to do the other way like what y all saw in this clip.
