Nope nope nope.I heavily disagree with the first one.She is not even close to being one of the best in kpop yet alone in Korea.She has bad developed lower register and bad support only down to a A3.Her mixed has only Bb4/B4 and she has no headvoice support.She has bad placements,problems with peach control and sharpness,problems with throatinnes.She is on the level of Miyeon from (G)I-DLE but niwhere close to top 90 female kpop vocalists

@@okoe1785 Conveying emotions and being a technical good vocalist is not the same thing.I can being live examples from my experience.I am a technically trained choir/opera singer but i cant convey the right emotion and so i dont get that much roles and etc than the less trained ones who give better emotions.Ofcourse conveying emotions is one of the most needed parts for a vocalist but the technical characteristics are needed too.The biggest example's are Iu and Adele.Both of them are technically not very good singers with tons of problems but they give the right emotion.

​​​​@@nisaaakanIU was considered in the list of 200 greatest singer of all time in the whole world by rolling stone at 135th place because of her vocal range. And yes she is the only female artist from k-pop to achieve this. If you still don't consider her as one of the goat then it's ok but he or she was stating a fact it was not too much.

its wasnt that they didnt let her (seriously doubt anyone anyone i korea says no to whatever IU wants), the concept of it all was to perform the biggest songs of her twenties. Good day and You and I were all released before she was 20. She has also officially "retired" good day and wont be performing that in any setlist again (encores is a possbility), because she doesnt feel to song really fits her to sing when shes 30 years old now. She did the same thing with marshallow, nagging, twenty three and palette.

she was sick when she performed this killing voice,her voice would be rather rasp and singing her triple high note from good day would completely kill it,there were instances they shortened that part back in the day despite IU being known for giving big effort for her fans but because belting those notes constantly will have the same effect on the voice that rockstar vocalists would experience and you wanna protect her honey voice in that quality as long as possible
