I attended IU's concert 3 months ago, and I've never felt so happy during a concert before. She is so endearing!

I love so many Kpop groups and soloists, but I'm 110% sure IU will win like 10 Awards this year for her album, and most of it will win it for Love Wins All. When you search for Masterpiece, Google shows you this MV! Also, it's worth to mention the acting masterclass in this, not only from IU but V as well. The director of this MV is fantastic. I just realized, you didn't react to SHH.. MV, I hope you will later because that MV is another masterpiece just like the song.

Facts for you. For her Lilac album she pre released her song Celebrity 1st, then she released 2 title tracks Lilac and Coin.Iu doesn’t promote on music shows anymore as she doesn’t need to. Whatever she releases it goes to number 1 and her whole album gets listened to. Majority of her songs on the album will be within the Top10. Also only releases an album roughly 2+ years apart. This is probably because she is so busy with acting drama, films, commercials, etc and she also produces all her albums starting from Chatshire era.

Suga made the beat IU wrote the melody and lyrics and produced by both of them. Another fun fact IU wrote her first self composed song at age 15/16 years old. Called Bad Day. And her first official release of self composed song was called Hold My Hand a ost for a Drama. Please react to her live performance of this.

I get that coin lyrics is difficult to understand without listening to her explaination so i ll just tell u in a few words: she just uses gambling as a metaphore for her work ethic, how she kept working being addicted to it like a gambler etc

IU got rearrangement for Celebrity with live band and I love it more than studio version.

Last June 1st, I went to her concert here in the Philippines and up until now I haven't moved on. It was a highlight of my life. She embodies everything I love about an artist. ❤

I think other than Love Wins All, My Sea and Love Poem, Dear Name should be placed up there at the very top for the best IU ballads of all time. If Love Wins All made me cry with its heart-wrenching scenes combined with the doubly emotional song, Dear Name made me cry just by seeing IU sing it 😭 I highly recommend her MMA performance of Through the Night x Dear Name! One of the best live performances I must say!

This could go on for hours, just for starters Suga said, not just Kpop, but the whole Korean musical industry can not be explained without talking about IU and he added that's a fact. I don't pretend to be the IU Encyclopedia but I can answer some questions. IU records most of the chorus for her songs and then used them in the back for the recording but also uses live back singers for the concerts. Also a giant pastel pink hot air balloon anchored to rails and she gave a lap to the stadium on that balloon singing strawberry moon just because she wanted to sing closer to the fans in the upper level. As for lyrics, most translation for her deep songs do suck, IU is a genius and uses similes, Antonyms but specially Homonyms which in Korean can go to deep levels. So learn a little Korean and get a Korean dictionary that's the best route. In Eight not only she expresses her deep loss (not just of Sulli) and how she moved forward, but also managed to send a a deep blow to the haters she will hit them again with BbiBbi, Sulli was so dear to her, she wrote more than one song for Sulli, Peach everybody knows. Suga did not wrote the whole song before hand, he wrote the intro sent it to her and they started the back and for, but it was very quick. IU controls her career no matter the percentage of ownership of her agency (that changed laste year) in the end IU is the biggest asset.

“Coin” uses gambling as a way to talk about taking risks in life. It's about being brave enough to chase your dreams, even when others doubt you. The video shows this idea by portraying the IU as a gambler who keeps playing even after losing everything. This suggests IU will keep pursuing her goals no matter what. It's a powerful message!

You & I released in 2011 is part1 of a 4 part story line. Part 2 is Above the Time. It picks up on Dec 31st 2019, which is the date she set on the Time Machine too in You & I. They are now in the same time but trapped in different dimensions, although the get to spend some time together. Part 3 is Blueming. You have some of the same aspects. The vibration that signals a warp in time and space. The framed Butterflies whi h were present from the You & I. In Blueming they are now in the same time and space but are separated by a wall. The 4th part is Strawberry Moon. Where the couple has now Beentogether but he wants to explore and she doesn't. He tells her he will return at the Strawberry Moon. He is waiting for her and apparently is not sure she will meet him, but she does. The happy ending. B sides doesn't really apply to the music industry anymore. A B side was the back side of a 45, and is a filler song. It is interesting that people keep using that term, because it disrespects those songs you call a B side. For instant take IU and her current mini album The Winning. The Title track is Shopper, the most popular song by a mile is Love Wins All, followed by Holssi (which is in fact part 1 and Shopper part 2 of her current story line), Shh.. is by far the deepest story. And I Stan You is quickly becoming hot song and the only song that didn't have an MV. Then look at the 2019 album Love Poem. The title track is the song Love Poem. Blueming would by definition be a B side, but that is hardly the case.

The English translation where the meaning of Korean lyrics is not half understood is really the worst. Too bad. Her songs are used in many expressions of korean, so there is a limit to the lyrics expressed in English. English expression is too monotonous😭😭😭
