Every time I see a reactors reaction, I cry. Just knowing she is mute and he is blind in this MV touches me even more. The singer IU is also an actress and the young man Kim Taehyung, aka "V" from the group BTS has also acted in one Kdrama. They performed so well together in this MV. 😢

The male lead is Kim Taehyung or V, a member of BTS! An incredible actor! He released his first solo album 'Layover' last year. Please react to Love Me Again, Slow Dancing and For Us music videos. Great reaction! I agree, we will never get over this.

The cube is meant to represent society and how badly it treat anyone who is "different". In the MV IU is deaf while Tae is blind in one eye but since they love each other they don't see those flaws. When we see them through the camera's lens it shows how they see each other - beautiful, perfect and the world is full of life and color because they have that love. Even in the darkest moments having that one person by your side can make it bearable. The ending killed me when IU covers his one good eye and her angelic voice along with the storytelling makes this a real masterpiece and I want to see them in a kdrama together.

You are not the only one cried. Most of us did too especially when V tried his best to fight and when IU covered V's (only) good eye. Both IU and BTS as a team or solos are fantastic musical artists.

I see that you have reacted to "Boy with Luv" by BTS. The male lead in this MV, Kim Taehyung or V, was the one in blue hair in that MV. He released a solo album last year called "Layover", with five tracks, each with its own MV. He has also released solo singles over the years. My recommendations are "Slow Dancing", "Winter Bear", and his Tiny Desk Concert. He has also performed a duet with IU called "Ending Scene". A lovely song, with her clear angelic voice and his deep smooth baritone. IU is a very popular singer/actress in South Korea, but I mainly know her from her dramas, "Hotel del Luna" and "My Mister", so I don't know much about her discography. I can only recommend her song "eight" ft. Suga (also a BTS member, the one who rapped first in "Boy with Luv") and "People Pt. 2" (Suga's song, where she featured).

The song/singing and the directing /acting match perfectly. Everything is beautifully done, and pack a powerful punch. Thank you, IU and V, for such a wonderful gift.

IU is such a legend. She’s like the Korean Taylor Swift lol. She’s a singer-songwriter and an actress as well. Everything she puts out hits no.1 in the charts immediately, and she’s been making music for 15+ years already! My favorites are ‘23’, ‘Palette’, ‘Strawberry Moon’, ‘Through the Night’

We've all been crying, so you're in good company. IU's voice, the story, the acting...they really weaved some magic in those quick 3 minutes, I cried again with you so don't worry. IU herself is known as Korea's little sister, and is a very beloved vocalist. She also has 2 songs done with another BTS member Suga (aka Agust D) called Eight and People Pt2. V or Kim Taehyung, who was acting in this video released his own album/ep 5 months ago called Layover. He has a great Tiny Desk Korea performance that I highly recommend checking out...and he also has a MV for all 5 songs songs off of Layover (there are 6 tracks but one is a different version of the same song).

I didn't cry, but I had a lump in my throat and an ache in my heart. Music and video are meant to make us feel something. It doesn't matter if it's joy or anger. IU is a master at it!

I’ve seen this over 100 times and cry every time. IU and V act so well they make you feel they are truly in love for real! We all felt the same emotions you did. iu (real name : Lee Ji Eun) is maybe one most important singers in S.Korea in last 15 years or so, she's South Korea's darling. The male actor is Taehyung from BTS, and he has recently released an album called Layover which is full of beautiful music, as well. In addition to that, he's written, produced and sung a lovely song called "Sweet Nights", which is such a romantic song and worth listening to. Another beauty of his (singing only) is a song called "Christmas Tree", which is addictive listening, too.
