Hoseok is so charismatic, cute and kind, he was nervous at first but managed to be authentic and show his best side, IU is so welcoming and friendly, the energy of both of them was very pleasant and harmonis.
IU’s humility and professionalism was PERFECT to bring out JHope’s uniqueness as an individual. We know him and love him Bangtan-Hobi, but this was an excellent interview to showcase the persona he wants to express in “Jack in the Box”. I think IU’s stature was a great match for his, and her non-fawning, sincerely respectful demeanor made for a lovely, positive interview.
The way IU is better than 95% of the interviewers and talk show hosts bts have given interviews for, both in and outside sk! You can see how she treats every guest with so much respect and how she makes an effort to do in depth research! She’s really one of a kind
This is EVERYTHING. Hoseok is the most amazing artist and person in the world, and he could not have chosen a better show-it’s a joy to be able to watch two such true, talented, authentic artists talk about music and perform together. IU is the perfect host. And Jack In The Box is a critically acclaimed masterpiece. So proud of you, Hobi, this is just the beginning for you, you deserve the world, and you’re going to tear it up at Lollapalooza! You are the king of the stage, a whole prodigy, born to be an artist and a superstar! Always prioritize yourself and your own artistry.
*I really love the fact that IU understands every detail of Hobi's first album cause she's also a songwriter and it makes me proud of Hobi whenever IU praises his work!!! Also, their unexpected performance is such a chef's kiss cause they sing so well together!!!*
The entire interaction was authentic, they were learning about each other organically as they went. They were both so honest; Hobi talked about wanting to connect with artists and IU was open to everything he was saying AND showing. There were little details that she perceived that he didn't even notice. I loved seeing IU pleasantly surprised by how multidimensional J-hope is as a person and artist.
I like that he picked her show to go on. She's really sweet and kind to her fans, and even has rooms full of shelves of gifts fans have given her from years ago. I like how they closed it out with that really cute lil JITB dance move too lol
*The fact that this episode started with them being shy, but as their conversation goes, they started getting comfortable with each other, like I like the way they talk with full of laughter and genuineness!!!*
They really need to do an official collaboration together in the future. Their vocal styles are SO compatible (chef's kiss) 😘👌 Also, I just noticed how cute it is that their clothes are matching...both are wearing jeans and white button-up shirts. 🥺😊
I’m so happy that hobi chooses iu’s palette and did this interview. He looks so happy that iu really understand the meaning of the song and the album.. she so attentive to the details to🥺 another admirable artist who understands another artist beautiful creative creations.
I Loved that! Their voices blend so well! I love it when JHope sings, too. He has such a Great personality, too. I remember that concert in Chicago because I'm a Chicagoan and I just happened to come across it online, which was another Great Surprise! I shouted at the screen, "JHOPE!" He did GREAT! It made me search for his other music online, too.
@@marienessa5673 pls respect the two idols, this has nothing to do with jk and although i do respect him a lot this is not a situation where we talk abt him
IU really did her research and genuinely appreciates hoseok and you can clearly feel the sincere and genuine admiration both have for eachother it's so so heartwarming these are definitely my favourite type of celebrity interactions💗💗
Came here yet again because I miss Hobi so so much. Our hardworking, talented and kind Hobi who is always sincere and respectful. Love how IU was so kind to him and so genuinely appreciative of him too 💜 such a heartwarming episode.
Hobi's reaction is so cute whenever IU compliments him, you can see how modest he is despite his successful career. I love IU and j-hope so watching both of them talking and performing together is such a priceless treat. 🥰 I really like how comfortable he is throughout the interview, I must say IU is the best! Her questions were all sensible and well thought out.
Jhope's personality really shines on this interview. IU recognized and commended his artistry because he has to know at one point, coming from a very successful artist as well, HOW GREAT HIS MUSIC IS. He is a true artist in every sense of the word. His lyricism is topnotch and everything about his music and his album is well thought of. Only artists and genuine music lovers can tell how crazy good his music is. Even a normal dude can feel the sincerity despite language barriers. The passion and the hardwork that he puts in. I hope people put respect on this man's name. Thank you, IU.. for this wonderful interview. One of your best.
hobi really chose the best show to debut on.. as mentioned iu’s sincerity respect and genuine interest in the music made this episode so meaningful and one to remember🥺💜
Am I the only one who wants them to have an own collab song? Like look how beautiful their voices are when they sang Jhope's "Equal Sign", esp. Their voice are balance together!
This interview felt so refreshing and comfortable. Their smile are so contagious’ and Jack in the box is such good album it really showcases hobi’s uniqueness as an artist.
Honestly the best interview I had ever seen. I bet all Armys were surprised like me on the fact that IU researched about his music and gone deeper in talking about the lyrics. From all the times I seen talk show hosts or interviewers interview BTS, they never fully discuss about their music. So it was really nice to see IU really care about all the Artists she has on her show. Like even J-Hope was so surprised to see someone caring and wanting to talk about his music and the meaning behind them.
Precisely, Hobi himself was surprised. The entire interaction was authentic, they were learning more about each other organically as they went. They were both so honest as well; Hobi in talking about wanting to connect with artists and IU being open to everything he was saying AND showing. There were little details that she perceived that he didn't even notice. I loved seeing IU being pleasantly surprised by how multidimensional J-hope is as a person and artist.
As an artist herself, I think IU comes to these interviews with empathy since she knows what it is like to be on the other side. Also, it seems to be a part of her natural personality. EDIT: I am an ARMY who is also a big fan of IU so this was really not a surprise to me. I am thrilled for ARMY who have never been introduced to IU. Please check her out as she is an exceptional entertainer as well as human being.
Thank you for the compliment🥰 IU always does research to their guests and their music especially if she doesn't know them well..and her priority is making her guests comfortable through complimenting them or saying that they could lay on the floor and stand on the chair if they want to lol.
Armies little did we expect this!? Our sunshine literally shone, hearing those words from IU would have really reassured him a lot!! Let's go for Lollapalooza, let's go Jhope!!!!
@@lawlietyagami4735 nothing happened its just known that jk has a crush on iu and people are being ridiculous its just an inside joke between armies😂they’re joking about how jungkook is “jealous” after seeing this. its not a big deal all 3 of them are lovely people including iu and no one is actually shipping or anything they’re just jokes
The way IU interviewed Hobi based on her own curiosity, IU was also the type to listen to albums with sincerity and focus on more in depth details and look at how emotional she was when Hobi was ending his performance of SAFTEY ZONE. She mentioned that this song made her feel quite sad. 🥺 ALL IN ALL, THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST INTERVIEW OF A BTS MEMBER EVER DONE!
This was very refreshing and entertaining. IU is a great host who makes her guess feel comfortable, so that its easy to talk to her. And Jhope was a little shy but very confident about his music and the direction he wants it to go. Not forgetting how well they sang together.
This was such a great interview.. I have always admired IU’s personality but I love it way more after seeing how well she treated Hobi! I feel like this is the first time I got to hear so much from him. She really listened to his songs and found important meaning in them. These two are such a pure combination! 사랑해 호비
This was unexpected but this whole interaction was ADORABLEEEEE, their personalities match so well and I really hope they meet again!!!!! Jhope is an absolutely incredible artist and such a fun guest to have, love him so much and IU is an amazing host, she made everything so Intereesting and comfortable:))
I love IU's pallette. I think because IU herself is a big star, she can understand her guests better. No pretense or judgement, just pure curiosity..so no cringey moment and it is always an enjoyable talkshow ❤ she is a great host!

Also no forced comedy or anything, just pure vibes
Iu is just so precious, there's a reason why everyone loves this perfect lady. She made our hobi feel at home and comfortable. It truly was a visual treat to watch them interact and have fun
When two of the most respected artists of Korea meet, we get honest and sincere emotions and conversations. As someone who respects IU and loves Hobi a lot, I am thankful for this. And Hobi calling IU noona is so cute
@@SoSickOfLife yeah I know, that's why I find it cute cz BTS publicly doesn't meet with female celebrities that much, so knowing they are close made my heart warm
Love this conversation and getting to know IU better, now I see why she is Korea's Sweetheart. I've loved J-Hope since my first BTS MV that insta-converted me to ARMY. His smile is so beautiful and incredible artist.
What I respect about IU is that she collaborated with Suga of BTS before but there's no certain topic that she mentioned it to this interview. She really make sure that this Palette episode is solely all about Jhope album. The fact that she really made effort to study all the details of Jhope song lyrics we can really tell how undeniably sincere she is and also to Jhope, IU is right he's so modest & respectful. My RESPECT to both artist ♥️🔥
I watch this episode at least once a month because it's filled with genuine warmth and joy and it shows Hobi's lovely traits which makes me feel closer to him, even more now that he is performing military service.😘💗💚☀️🌈 IU is a great hostess🩷
currently crying the unexpected chemistry, the respect towards each other, their voices, their laughter, the way they just click so well i am so inlove with both of them 🤍🥺
The fact that most of ppl believes hobi didn't passed jyp audition and hobi spilling the facts is such an awesome 🎉😅. You can't believe everything you see on internet .
I DID NOT SEE THIS COMING AT ALL?? They’re literally both artists at the top of the industry right now and the fact that they just dropped a 42 minute video of interactions for us- 🤯
Outstanding interview. IU is so gentle and warm with Hobie. Those two are evenly matched in how they interacted with playfulness yet sincerity in conversation. There is mutual respect and I would add that each brought out the best in each other. Looking forward to Lalapalooza and more of the "palette." Hobie, think you should send a car for IU and invite her to that party. 💜💜💜💜💜
we can’t deny the fact that we didn’t expect this interview, we were all shocked 😭😭😭 this is so fun. seeing them talking comfortable on each other even though hobi was so shy at first, his legs are shaking hahah but then the interview went so well 😻🍀🌿
IU did a great job to make Hobi comfortable and vice versa. They are both kind people. So glad for their little jam. The palette touch of EQUAL SIGN is so cool. IU slay it.
I love how J-hope's music reflected his personality so much. You can see that even IU was so impressed by his mindset and how modest he is. His answer that bringing the best performances as a guest is a basic manner and to show respect for the host was out of the box because not all people can come up with that reasons. J-Hope's nature as a bright, happy, honest person with sincerity person to everybody, I really hope he will have many many more artists as friends and colleagues and maybe a collab with IU (?!) in future. The best for IU, thank you so much for being one of the best artists of the century and also being such good MC. Goodluck Jung Hoseok. You will always be our brightest star out there.
Even if it was his first time being on a big show like this by himself without the members, he did an amazing job 👏🏼 I am so proud of him! He is the best!
i'm really glad that IU decided to have talk shows, I feel like there's a whole new perspective when the interviewer is also a musician and can provide more artistic insights
This whole episode was so casual and genuine. It didn't feel like an interview, it was like a friendly hat. LOVED IT!! Thank you so much for this. HOBI FIGHTING!!!! IU FIGHTING!!!
I truly wish they do a collaboration together one day. Hoseok is the type to give his features alot of space, and with that being said I bet both gonna shine so bright in a track together! They somehow match with each other so well !
I'm all smiles the whole time. J-hope must be really nervous, but he did so well!! Their voices is such an eargasm, I must say they need to collab!!! J-hope, I'm so proud of you.
@@Riv679 I know what an introvert is, I've tried to explain the same to many people, and I actually don't think jhope is one. Like you said, introversion has nothing to do with shyness or being socially awkward. Hobi was just being shy in this interview, but I still think he's an extrovert (just like Jimin who gets shy sometimes, even during Hobi's party, despite being an extrovert). Extroverts can still be reserved and awkward when meeting new people. It's not 'the real introverted jhope' that came forward when the pressure was on, but it's him getting shy. Hobi absorbs other people like a sponge, he gets energy from being with people. I think the real Hobi is a very reserved extrovert who perhaps is closer to the center of the spectrum, and of course not the ball of sunshine we see on screen. IU is a massive introvert though.
@@Riv679 Seriousness and calmness don't make you an introvert either. You're kind of contradicting yourself by first explaining what doesn't make someone an introvert and then calling someone an introverts for having those traits. The test they took wasn't really MBTI. A lot of MBTI tests are using dichotomies (letters) to type people, like one of the most popular tests named 16personalities. These tests aren't reliable because they're not MBTI. 16p mistypes a lot of people, especially to an xNxx because of their intuitive bias (INFJ is the 2nd most rarest type, yet most people get typed as INFJ by this site, even ESFPs). MBTI is about jungian cognitive functions (Ni Ne Si Se Ti Te Fi Fe) that each type can develop, and your type can't change. The best way to determine your type is to learn about the functions and then type yourself. Even though it was said in the video that they purchased the test, the test used letters and stereotypes, so it wasn't real MBTI. They mistyped almost every member and made people think their types changed. Jhope got INFJ, but he's an ENTP (a lot of people think he's an ESFJ but they're not seeing through his persona). ENxPs are actually known as the most introverted extroverts. Edit: fun fact, MBTI theory was developed by psychologist Carl Jung, and BTS actually used his theories of the shadow, persona and ego for the MOTS album series. Namjoon even read his autobiography and they recommended the book 'Jung's Map of the Soul'. I'm surprised they haven't read more into his MBTI theories and keep taking these stupid tests.
