This video just changed my nursing student's life! I am in my last semester and preparing for the NCLEX and I ALWAYS get fluids mixed up. I have your Complete Nursing School Bundle - love it! Thank you
Yay! Thank you so much for letting me know that this video helped you 🙌I wish you the best of luck as you continue preparing for the NCLEX. You got this! 💛
I wish all teachers would teach like you. You start off with the fundamentals first and then gradually move up to what's important. I like how you reiterate important concepts to know. Oh, and I just ordered the complete nursing school spiral book and the pharmacology flashcards. I can't wait to start studying. Thanks for all your hard work.
Thanks for the comprehensive video! I have one question. I saw another resource said that D51/4NS is isotonic. If your logic is correct with the solution starting with 5%, shouldn’t the solution be hypertonic?
Good question! 5% dextrose is the exception - this starts as an isotonic fluid and then changes to hypotonic when the dextrose is metabolized in the body. I hope this helps clear that information up!
Hi! Thanks for your videos! I got a question which confuses me little bit. 5% Dextrose in 0.225 sodium chloride should be hypotonic solution but it starts with big number like 5. What’s your thoughts on this? Thanks 🙏
Hi there! I am happy to help 💛5% dextrose in fluids is an exception to the high number rule. This is because it starts as an isotonic solution and then changes to a hypotonic solution when the dextrose is metabolized. Hope this helps! Happy studying, future nurse!
I'm a Doctor but still watching your videos, they're very good and quick revision for me, You're a talented nurse and God has blessed you with the knowledge of teaching and i love your English accent very clear 😊, i encourage you to continue and go forward, you will have a bright future ahead👍
Thank you so much for your kind words! I have a video on the most common antidotes here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PqK7DfuadxU.html Happy studying!
Hello, I love the nursing bundle. I bought the download. However, I noticed on the commercials that you can make tiny notes on there. I also noticed that it's from the apple tablets. I have a Samsung. Is there a special app or program for the nursing bundle download that you can make notes on there? I only have a read only for the samsung
