Ivan Parker Exclusive Interview // Battle With Cancer 

My late Pastor-husband had tongue cancer and lost 3/4 of his tongue, having it reformed during the surgery using his own chest tissue. He had to learn to talk, sing, and preach all over again. God brought him back into the pulpit where he continued to minister to congregations. What a blessing!

Ivan is a Blessing to me . I was at a concert of his in Truro Nova Scotia Canada. I excepted the Lord into my life at that concert

We sure were praying you through. You sure amazed the doctor and staff with your rapid recovery. God is so faithful. I had a routine scan. The scan showed 1.1cm spot in the lower left lobe of my lung. They felt like it was 50/50 for cancer. The day I learned there was something there. I gave it to God, and some wonderful family & friends were prayers. I have had two biopsies one in March and a different kind of biopsy in May. Both have been negative thanks to my Savior. Having grown up singing gospel music with my sisters. We were the “Parker Sisters” and we knew of those “Parker Boys”here in NC. May God continue to bless you and your family. Lp

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I am so glad you are cancer free. I will pray for you and your family. 2013 was when I was diagnosed with cancer in my left lung. I had biopsy and then the drs had to determine how to proceed. I had 8 churches praying for me. God was my staying power. They removed 1/3rd of my lung. My lung Dr was from India and when I went for followup he told me I couldnt take the chemo nor radiation because I was 101 pounds. So he would keep havings scans to monitor me. My tenth year free was in 2023. GOD BLESSED ME I FEEL LIKE HE EXTENDED MY LIFE. 🙏

We love him. He came to Liberty Baptist Church and we just worshipped with him. The most down to earth singer. We had church. Pray for him. Such a gifted instrument of God.

I was diagnosed with non Hodgkins lymphoma.They removed a lymph node..The doctors told my Pastor husband I would be dead in a year.God heald me without radiation or kemo therapy. THAT WAS 36 years ago.I ended up being a missionary to Chile for ten years.I layer hands on the sick,and even saw people raised from the dead.

Loved this true story of Ivan. Would appreciate you to pray for my double neice.... she was 11 when her Mom died at age 37 of cancer....both very passionate Jesus followers !!! Her Mom was my older sister. Her dad is my husbands older brother. Shes a fighter in every way!! Tremendous women of faith !!! She has been given time lines by the Doc a couple of times. My neice said " im not goin to take dr s words laying down. No Sir....now we fight in JESUS NAME !!!! She lives in Wpg. Canada. It started too in her lymp nodes in her neck and her ovaries!! We need doctors def at times.....But The Doc does not have the Last word on our lives....Only GOD. does !!! As her auntie I have several health issues as well.....lot of pain involved exhaustion and more. Please would you pray for my neice? And for me.? Im in AB Canada. Thankyou !!!!

I love Ivan Parker. I love he leads us truly in worship. I listened and followed him Since the days with Gold City. I'm so thankful God carried him through this and gives God the glory. Lately I've been in difficult times with broken bones over and over. It's frustrating and discouraging though. I know I'm in God's will. I fought the same feelings. God's words to me when I asked why were "I needed to pull you away from your hustle bustle so I can have some time alone with you. I wanted you to stop and take time for me. I pondered that for days and realized I'd been too too busy and doing a lot on my own. Because I hadn't slowed down on my own,HE slowed me down, made me so I couldn't do anything for myself. I was injured, hurt, alone and needy. It seemed unfair and humbled me. I have spent special alone time with God and he was gracious and wrapped me up In His arms. He reminded me that he will never leave me alone and his grace is indeed sufficient. Thank you for this testimony. I'm a musician too. I play the piano and sing and God's blessed me with this special ministry.

I had cancer in my roof of my mouth God told me that he was gonna heal me too.but I lost 2 teeth in the backorder my mouth.but I had a beautiful peace..then 2 was later I came back for follow up they told me I don't need chemo I jumped up yelling Thank you Jesus .I freaked the drs out when I jumped up and yelled.thank you Jesus
