From the episodes we have seen from Huston I think they have a problem! They want a lot of money for flooded cars and trucks many of which are not worth the money. Good find on the Corvette though Ivan. Now Micheal will have to pull the camper home with a horse or two or three 🤞🤣🤣. Take care Brothers.👍👍
I can almost guarantee the bidder from Iowa you were bidding against on the Corvette was Sam's Riverside in Des Moines, Iowa. They are one of the largest rebuilder resellers in the Midwest and they know their stuff. Back when these auctions were live at the auction site, a good friend of mine would look at and bid on behalf of Sam's Riverside in Oklahoma and Kansas. I'd put a wager on it that Sam's was the bidder you were bidding against on that Vette. If you ever make the trip to the Des Moines Copart yard, Sam's Riverside is about a half mile from the Copart yard and you drive right past them to get to Copart. It's worth it to stop by there and see their operation. Heck, I'm sure they'd allow you to film and do a video there.
Corvette is a good buy. Hard to say what was going on with busted windshield. Texas is a long drive home for you and transporting would be expensive unless you scored a run and drive. You’re going to get some serious weather before getting home.
That Corvette was a good buy. We usually buy from Dallas and have cars shipped to us. Houston cars are running high. Go back home. South Carolina will have better deals. Also, since the last hurricane and the storm passed through Florida to the Carolinas, there will be plenty more cars to choose and search for good deals.
@MSSchub, do you find a lot of hail and tornado-related damaged cars after toise big storms up there? San Antonio nevers gets the weather like Dallas or Houston.
@@ESamuelson-r2ethe Vette was only worth 38k and after Copart fees they will be around 28k plus they have to get it home. The only two plus I see is ( clean title and no upfront damage). They will pay 75% of its value without a test drive
