Ivana Trump dies at age 73 

I lost my dad at 38. You think as you get older it be easier to " deal" with death of a parent. It sucks. Flat out hits you like a truck. Glad her kids have each other for support.

She always seemed like a classy lady. I know how hard it is to lose your mother. Sending deepest sympathy.

When I lived in Chicago I met her at a book signing and she was so gracious. So sorry for her children and grandchildren.

Losing either parent is tragic for any one at any age not just your Mother it takes both parents to make one or more children. I’m one of three children of my parents, we lost both parents when I was just 11 in 1972, it still hurts because we don’t have them to guide us through life’s ups and downs or just a smile, a good laugh, think about that. I know what the family is experiencing and there’s nothing we can say or do to ease their pains of the lose other their parent. Don’t lie and wrote it’s going to be alright, it isn’t going to be all right the pain is great it hurts. At the beginning of our lives it’s flesh, blood and bones, at the end of each of our lives it flesh, Blood and Bones, anything you get during your living life doesn’t matter the truth is! You are who you were when you were born. The truth is! The breath go back to where it came from and many lifeless bodies go into the Earth, into a furnace to be what’s titled cremation. We been taught to believe they’ve all gone to a heaven we know nothing about or a hell we’ve not experienced ourselves. R.I.P. I lost my dad when I was 5 and lost my mom when I was 15. Everything after that I was a lost individual. Then a Yogi told me everyone has a purpose in life and that is because of Karma. Just be grateful to your parents who gave you the birth and thank the creator for being so generous to yourself. Happiness is helping people who are less fortunate then yourself.

I looked up to Ivana as did other young girls in the 80's. She was known to be a great leader & have true grit in all spectrums of business. Yes, she got her business position from her husband, but she kept that position due to her skill set & understanding in management. She was known for being tough in business. This was before many women held very high positions of power in NYC. She set standards for young women of her time to look up to & aspire to be like. Extremely determined and yet had a lot of class. This was indeed a powerhouse lady who knew she was trailblazing for others, who would later be following in her footsteps in the business sector. You will be missed.
