Sherry Thomas On what statistic do you base this idea on...? I find this younger generation to be highly work-driven and self-motivated. I have high hopes for our country - once this younger generation takes control (I won’t be alive to see it, but I’m glad to know it’s coming). In my opinion, we haven’t seen hard workers like our young people today since the WWII generation. I’ve never been more proud to be an American.

Social programs within a capitalist economy and representative democracy is still capitalism. Moreover, Bernie has no problem with people having wealth and becoming wealthy. He just wants an economy that works better for the working class and tax system similar to one which was used in the US from 1950 - early 1980s in which the highest tier tax bracket was 60%, and corporations and the elite paid 30% of all social programs (that number is below 10% today).

Still, she speaks with an easy yet authoritative style indicating a grasp of the issues and an ability to avoid the mind-numbing platitudes that characterize every single Democrat I've EVER heard this election cycle -- and I can't see that they'll suddenly acquire a grasp of both the issues and the language facility necessary to impress me as Ivanka Trump has.
