Accendio is easily among my most rewatched kpop mv’s of 2024. Love it so damn much. NewJeans also does an amazing job at telling narrative in their mv’s. Especially their two-parters.
for me is my video of the year, is just the story, the song, the concept, the dance, the visual, THE OUFITS....AAAA even the hidden vocals, all together is just so well done
while I personally think HEYA is the better MV when it comes to the editing, the storytelling in Accendio is just.. chefs kiss! they've both got their own charms to be honest, and i just think it's cool as heck. i really like when MVs can create their own little self contained storylines- like Accendio, IU's Love Wins All, or (G)-IDLE's I Want That- they make for some of the most memorable mvs in kpop for sure! and i love watching your opinions on how the editing conveys them, that insight is very interesting as someone who is curious as to the decisions that go into these MVs, and the psychology of what makes them so memorable

I’m so so SO happy you did the reaction video, this is my most rewatched video of the year and it’s what made me a dive! Absolutely the best storytelling in kpop that I’ve seen in a long a looong time, it’s just such a fun video.
