Not really, I think they aren’t bad but I think several 4th gen gg for example (aesp*) beat IVE. Ive’s songs are slow, kinda monotonous and shield them from exposing their lack of vocal range. I pref the experimental and constant beat changing style more and more higher notes and low notes. Eleven was good but I can tell that their future songs r mostly going to be monotone and structure of the song is going to be repetitive like bp. These songs feel like typical pop songs that play it safe and r just there and have nothing interesting to bring to the table.

@@Poop-pd9tg welp I disagree. It's called DIVERSITY but go off I guess. SM is good with Aespa and using the IGAB formula they mastered over years so it's cool ofc. But we can't have only that type of music produced or it's gonna be repetitive and plagiarism accusations are gonna be flying left and right. And I'm not even an IVE stan yet but I have to disagree with the monotonous comment cuz it's simply not true. From a technical point of view IVE songs are actually quite interesting, ofc with Love Dive they took different approach to song structure than Eleven witch played a lot with tempo changes. This time they tried new genre, something closer to deep house which actually isn't a genre you can hear that often in kpop (gwsn are the unofficial queens of deep house lore in kpop). Anyways u don't have to respond bc I feel like it's pointless bc I don't think you'll be convinced and change ur opinion anyway. Also my initial comment was about their performance and stage presence not about the song itself but ok

@@Poop-pd9tg even if ive's songs are a little repetitive they at least don't sound and feel empty and feel lacking something, as blackpink songs do. Not every group has to have beat switches every other second to be good. I love aespa and their music but Ive's music is really good too, just in a different way

@@talitali Ohhhh cause by monster rookies, I think it’s not whether or not the song is likeable but how much talent it gives off for example vocal range, dance, stage presence and idc about style bc it’s what the makeup artist does. Literally ppl hype up some artist who just fast talks a few lines, sings a few flat note (showing that they aren’t tone death & ppl think they r talented) but can’t even hit high notes. I think Izone is more interesting too song wise, that are faster, more vigorous dance, super high notes. cause at least Jo Yuri, Eunbi, Chaeyoung, Nako and Yena kinda carried the rest of the members. Ngl this group no hate they are decent but not like monsters…

@@TheSofkujepanen Yes I don’t hate this group and it’s wrong to hate maybe I’ll just not listen to them as much and yes it’s true that their songs don’t feel empty, feel complete and have some vibes. But idk maybe izone songs in my opinion only were better and harder to sing and dance to so it obviously has to do with it since there are two members in this group who were in izone. But I’m just kinda shocked by how they are called monster rookies cause I think their songs rlly couldn’t show or that they don’t seem to have a good vocal range. But yes they have sharp dance moves. But monster idk If they can hit Winter’s or NingNing’s high notes, even Karina and Giselle who are rappers can sing high notes. The reason I’m focusing on vocal capabilities is because singing high notes is what determines ur a good “singer” or not but this group kinda seem to have no actual main vocalist they all seem to be sub vocalist and all just main/lead dancers/rappers. Cause ngl rap is kinda easy, unless it’s a long rap that is also fast. But I see most idols can’t even hold and sing a long high note, you can see from some videos that they voice crack or scream and not even hit the note, yell the high note or just can’t even hit the note
