Thanks! Well, you can think it this way. It's not the one or the other. There wouldn't be some other song that didn't get released for this to be released. This song and music video wouldn't exist at all, so it's great to see the girls again. Most importantly, it's large sponsorships like this that bring in the cash to fund IVE's next projects. The market is so saturated and competitive, the budgets have skyrocketed (every comeback of a mid-high level group these days easily exceeds $1m in cost), so you got to bring in the money, so the company and ultimately the girl group remain healthy financially and they can keep giving us nice songs. Every time you hear "the group is in hiatus" or "locked in the basement" (as fans like to call it) it means their company is trying hard to bring in the money for their next release.

@@areiacreations I totally get it and of course it's good for the artists to get their content and name out there. I'm always happy to see K-pop artists succeed. Especially the younger ones that need any promotion they can get. At the same time, it doesn't hurt to look at the development of the industry from a slightly critical perspective. If I remember older releases by other artists in the past, product placements were done a bit more subtle. We'll see what happens in a few years. Will advertisers start suggesting that some of the lyrics mention their products as well?

It’s not like this is a comeback, so what’s the issue? The song and MV were literally made to advertise the product - it’s no different to them filming any other commercial, except that this is way better because we get a song and MV from them. I only see a win-win situation lol.
