Commercial Vehicle Insight goes for a spin in the new Iveco Daily Hi-Matic and experiences the eight speed automatic gear box which reduces maintenance and repair costs by 10% compared to manual transmission.
im definately gonna test drive one of these vans in lwb guise with the hi-matic transmission very soon - as the driver in this clip so right says - why would you willingly have a manual nowadays - a brilliant review and nice to see a guy just tell it like it is
I like this review and the van, auto box just what I want. Wish the guy would keep his eyes on the road, frightened the life out of me just watching the video!
Thank god they're getting rid of the Agile gearbox. such an awful experience. Shame it took Iveco so long when the Sprinter and Crafter which are vans with popular automatic gearboxes in the same class have had wonderful gearboxes with slick gear changes for years. The agile box was frankly a complete failure of a gearbox in my opinion. Want to try this new box for sure when we have a new Iveco roll in.
Did he say 20-26mpg that is a shit return, my Mrk6 transit even with a leaking fuel solenoid is doing 28mpg before the leak 34mpg. Beggars belief what the Iveco 3ltr 210bhp will guzzle
LOL.. lies.. My colleague has the new Hi-Matic 8 speed.. and when the gearbox is cold.. It makes suck a hard clunk that you wonder if it dropped out the van... LOL.
We hebben er 3 stuks lopen op het werk en allemaal klagen ze over de veel te harde vering en te weinig beenruimte voorin .Mensen ,handen af van die merk.👎
