Thank you for sharing your journey and being so open about it. Just watched your other video where you talked about starting IVF and a financial side. It's the first time I hear someone share such details, and they are important and helpful to know too. I am in the middle of my journey too and will have a retrieval around 11th of February. Two weeks ago my insurance that was covering my IVF got cancelled, and I was right in the middle of my treatment. We had to quickly make a decision if and how we are carrying on with it. I decided to pursue and gamble with this try. If it doesn't work we will probably take a loan too. Wishing you all luck and success! Your smiles and positivity made my day! Thank you. Insurances can be tricky! Yeah we didn't want to take out a loan, but didn't want to wait anymore on having a family, so we decided to go for it! I am so grateful we did because this has been an amazing experience! sending you guys lots of love and support on your journey!

This room has a homey vibe...my room was surgical af...I was just ready to be knocked out lol....they ended up retrieving 13 and thankfully I had no bleeding but the cramping was REAL.

So excited you got so many! I was kinda holding my breathe until you said the number & hoping for the best, but 31 seems like good news. I hope the follow up call from the office was equally fortuitous! Aww. Zeke is such a sweet (and cute!) little nurse. Look at him taking care of his mommy. My husband is the same way coming out of anesthesia-he’ll ask me the same question multiple times. 😁

I also had 31 eggs retrieved! Did the doctor mention it could be due to PCOS? Cuz my doctor said this could mean I have it. Even though I don’t have any of the symptoms. Also we’re doing IVF due to male factor issue.

Thanks so much for posting this, girl! Very informative. I'm actually getting surgery soon, too. I am wondering if you could explain more about what it was like to get put to sleep? This is the part that freaks me out!! Like, what does it feel like? How do they do it? What does it feel like when they put the stuff in, like do you get sleepy or is more like wide awake to instantly out? Could you have stayed awake if you would have tried or is it impossible? Haha. Basically whatever you remember about that part would be helpful. Thanks so much!

Anesthesia can be scary, but don't worry about going under at all! you will be in good hands with your doctor! with IVF you are under for a really quick time. You will literally be talking to the anesthesiologist and be out mid conversation, and then wake up in a big comfy chair, and be like... oh that was so quick and I don't remember a thing! For surgery depending on what you are going under for the amount of time could be different, but you will be in good hands. I was worried about being nauseous the first time I went under so I asked for a patch for nauseous and that really helped! The anesthesiologist office should call you the night before your surgery and you can address any concerns you have then! let them know you are scared and need a little extra hand holding and they can hook you up :) I honestly don't remember any of it though from being under and don't remember feeling anything! Just woke up a little sleepy :)

Oh wow that is amazing to have 32 follicles! I had 18 follicles before we went in so we were super surprised that they were able to get more eggs during the procedure!

I wish I remembered! I never wrote it down and with it being over a year ago, I am not remembering! I am so sorry! I do remember though before I went in for surgery my follicle count was 18 and so I was surprised they retrieved so many more eggs!
