That was an amazing turn around, holy shit! Normally at that situation, you'd be despairing already. That was a miracle. Poor xawm though, his early game was so impressive.
@@kfkcnonyohoe football would of resulted in a stun which could allow bq to catch up - too risky imo. Also ur more likely to be hit while footballing than elbow pad bc its slower
Oh my god that's why it's "legendary"....now I learned two things 1st don't be greedy as hunter and 2nd survivors could literally get a tie even in the worst cases 🤠👍💁♀️
they only got a tie because the hunter made some questionable decisions. plus the fact that this is a tourney so bq didnt chair grave and instead went for slugging to try for the 4man
Well, this was in tournament. If the hunter got a 4-kill, he could get 5 points - a huge advantage for his team. xawn got a really good start, so ofc he would try to eliminate all. No one expected a tie even the sur team tho.
well tbf hunters can also get a win in a losing game after the last cipher pops (wu chang ending clutch✌️) so the moral rly is to never let anything get to ur head bc when it happens it’s not fun being that person but it certainly exciting and cool to get a comeback.
this is a tournament where people take risks to be able to get more points to win. this isnt your typical rank match where u just settle for a tie and call it a day lmao
DOU5 survivors can get a tie in this case because xawn aimed for a 4-kill. If xawn decided to secure a 3-kill, DX survivors in no way can get their tie. So I wouldn't think this was the worst case for DOU5.

If xawn had chaired GK, he would have got a 3-kill or a 4-kill... Well, normally hunters let survivors use all their self-heal to kill all, so what xawn did was normal. It just brought him a legendary match instead a 4-kill 👌
xawn could have kept his blink, camped bleeding GK and used his mirror to camp the remaining ciphers. Coor would have to spend an entire 3 minutes just to sneak around, and another 60 seconds since it's likely that GK will be chaired when he's almost bled out. I would say xawn got a bit too confident about his map control and let GK with Coor successfully come through the clutch.
@@sikeyno.8797 exactly. you could see the exact moment he got cocky and confident. after downing gravekeeper a second time and him still having the self heal, he should have chaired him. the survivors were going to keep fighting no matter what, so chair and force coord to pop ciphers or use flare gun. alternatively (although considered toxic), camp the gravekeeper with the self heal. after realizing coord’s tactics, the hunter could have camped gravekeeper and forced him to self heal, force coord to come over with her gun, or bleed gravekeeper out as coord walks around the map. there were so many better ways to play than he did
@@sikeyno.8797 not sure about their score status in this round, but every point matters in tourneys. which is probably why xawm wanted that 4k after securing the 2K. still, it was better to secure 3K before aiming for 4K. he got too confident because his early game was so good

I think the mistake was switching to peepers instead of teleport. I mean peepers aren’t bad but like id switch to abnormal or teleport. Granted id never be in ivl cause im bot. Ggs to the team :)
It's usually their initials, or it stands for a longer username! Like ZYJ is short for Zhang YuJian. WW stands for WanWan. UpXi goes by "Shang Xi" in Chinese and the first part "Shang" means "up" so it's half translated into English. Regular players usually use Chinese characters, but for big tournaments like this one and COA, they are required to use English letters. However, the full name in English would be too long, so they just go with initials or abbreviation. The numbers usually also have meaning, for example, 487 also stand for his name. His initials are He Tian Shun (HTS), so on a telephone/numberic keypad, it corresponds to the numbers 487.
Unfortunately most CN server players are not on RU-vid :( the pro players and casters mainly use Chinese platforms. There's only a few I know of who are active on RU-vid. For competitive/serious rank matches, Ling Zhiqi (former 5hs member) has a RU-vid channel【零之启】官方频道 and it's updated daily. He's dual faction but currently grinding surv for COA. He also does Chinese IVL commentary. There are also some survivor mains who mainly post entertaining matches. 阿拉喵 is a RU-vidr who plays all sorts of game modes, and 电竞导演见, and 帅芒果 do some funny Chinese commentary for their own matches That's all I can think of for now, but I'll add more if I think of any.
@@wuacko_quacko3513 there are areas we call "god kiting" in other of maps aswell, because they have alot of pallets that you have to break as hunter or you wont ever catch the survivor. they are just good kiting areas for survs
