The reason people don't know much about that country is the language barrier. English speaking countries don't know much about French or Spanish or Portuguese speaking countries. If Ivory Coast was english speaking it would be as popular as Nigeria
My Ivorian brothers would do better to get closer to those English-speaking African countries that love effort and success. Countries that know how to appreciate and congratulate the efforts of others. Instead of getting bored with certain French-speaking countries that have a shitty mentality and are driven by jealousy. I might be going to Abidjan soon and was looking for a decent 2 or 3 star hotel without shady drama not too far from city center since am a no friils kinda guy. The hotel is actually called Détenete Hotel in the Yopougon area i just confirmed on google maps.
