nah, USC probably rejected him because he was overqualified. sometimes they do that because they know the student will get better schools and won’t attend theirs, making their enrollment rate bad. also, by not taking overqualified students, their acceptance rate goes down
Jen is correct, but sometimes schools are also looking for people with certain qualities and talents to admit, like maybe some musicians for an orchestra or some specific athletes for a sports team
Owen community college is much cheaper. If you plan your stuff out and know what your doing you will spend less money and have a better chance of fixing your gpa so that you can get into really good colleges if you don’t do so well in high school. It’s a pretty good option tbh

I’m so proud of you, I was so nervous while watching you guys, but then when you got accepted into Columbia and Harvard I started crying of happiness, and it’s not even me who got accepted 😂I think we all can relate to that
He probably is still in middle school(I'm assuming) and doesn't really understand what exactly an admission from Harvard means, but he's just trying to be happy for his brother anyway which is commendable
it’s not society’s expectations. people work their absolute hardest for 4 years in school and in extracurriculars so to be rejected from their dream school is a blow to their ego and probably makes them feel like they didn’t do enough or their work wasn’t valued. i’m about to be a junior and for the past two years i’ve averaged 2-3 hours of sleep a night on school days and work all day and do summer classes. so, to be rejected from my dream schools will be extremely devastating
@@richarda9994 ye it seems like a huge deal rn. Trust my i remember. It wont in a couple years. Depending on the field you work in, after your first job the school wont matter
