This is relatable regardless of whether or not the student is an Ivy League first generation or a non Ivy first generation university student. Many of those feeling they described are felt by every first generation student.

Yes. Three years after graduating with my bachelors in philosophy, I still ache over the experiences I had at my "public Ivy" school. It was isolating, frustrating and depressing. I feel that if I reached out to find a network and that network reached out in return, I would be in a better position occupationally and mentally. I would have gotten more out of my college experience.
Thank you nytimes for not only creating eye opening vids but new ones as well...most of RU-vid is the same crap it was nice to see a vid where I learned something and it wasn't boring or old. #diverse #eyeopening
