This is just so great. You can also totally see that Ivy has a slight boss crush on Talia. Not in the, ‘in love’, kind of way, but more deep admiration as the kind of person she wishes she could actually be, and she is attracted to that.
They really took the Lazarus Pit, a powerful and dangerous substance thats kept the leader of a ninja death cult alive for centuries and turned into a beauty product. I just can't anymore 😂
@@kristopherprime9837 Ivy's gonna be pissed when she realizes Joker has less trouble being accepted in a leadership role (of a city he terrorized for years) and a happy domestic life while she has to make her subordinates respect her by kicking their asses and her rocky relationship with Harley at the moment.
Oh totally. Just this time in a slightly different way. I’m betting this time it’s more like in love with a boss you really admire, so you could actually be them, rather than with them.
yes but why though seriously what does talia have that ivy doesn't other that slightly high conference and a bitchy attitude. shes not smarter than ivy not objectively more power full shes not an environmentalist and if any thing is an industrialist what traits dose she have that would make a sarcastic apathetic environmentalist like her be so immediately smitten with her
@@GabrielaQueenOfSocksReally? With this? I don't think they're running out of ideas. Maybe running out of recognizable characters that can fit the story. They killed off too many of them too soon. Queen of Fables was phenomenal and they offed her within few episodes.
Justice League is opposite in here. They're lamest while in other universes the villains are lamest. Also in this universe and by writers the whole show is woke garbage.
That probably isn't the actual Lazarus I think the cream is made of substances that can cause the same effect like plants that grew in that area which is why Ivy got made enough to ruin Talia's business.
Problem with her is that WW comics dont use her mcuh, and if it is for crossovers, then Lex Luthor is a better choice for being an actual nemesis...her simply being a genderbent version of an already existing character doesnt help.
@GabrielaQueenOfSocks I feel she has more going for her than what you just described, and calling her a gender bent Lex Luthor is too distastefully dismissive. There are stories where she has really given Wonder Woman a run for her money.
@@starwish1037 That is because DC is trying for us to forget that female villains excists in order to try to appeal to feminists, so only men can be portrayed as evil now. :(
@@GabrielaQueenOfSocksdid you not watch the last wonder women movie that came out? Or blue beetle? Or any of DC’s animated films that have come out? There have been plenty of female villains. Bad bait try again
1:38 Word of advice: NEVER EVER let _The Joker_ even *think* you’re trying to use HIM…. They have to update The Geneva Conventions every time he gets REAL pissed.
I hope the Ivy-Talia relationship doesn't evolve into the cheating (emotionally or physically) kind. She should simply see her as a good example of a girlboss and admire her for that and try (and fail) to follow her example which would make Harley jealous. I just want Talia to be an adversary to Harley and for Ivy to not pick sides until Harley gets hurt (physically or emotionally).
@Lambothe1st There's a crapton of female villains in Bats rogues gallery. Just very few of them maintained relevancy, but it'd have been a baller move if this show reached back to the Golden and silver age for forgotten women in bats comic history or even one off villains from later stories. As opposed to pulling from another heroes rogues gallery for more recognizable names.
@@vullord666 Agree and this could get some of these forgotten villains in the modern spotlight or even give them a revamped modern background story similar to what they did to Mr, Freeze in the animated series. I would even put the animated batman series female villains like Red Claw, Baby Doll, The Phantasm, Calendar Girl and Roxy Rocket as well
Veronica Cale is another name I wanted in HQ. I just wanted her to be more on par with Talia and Lex Luthor. Except for the gods Wonder Woman villains really get the shaft.
I've always thought Wonder Woman villains have souch potential to be portrayed as intimidating and interesting villains as they have been depicted in the past. Im really hoping that with James Gunn essentially confirming there will be a Wonder Woman animated show in development it could give them the opportunity on why Wonder Woman's Rogue's gallery can be as good as Batman's or Superman's rogues gallery
@@Passions5555I mean superman villains always find a way they just need to get more creative with giving her a challenge rather than just appearing like Ares in no way should be an easy challenge for her at anytime
did Talia REALLY think beheading an HOA pres was gonna get her AC fixed? No no, You extort an HVAC company and get them to provide dirt cheap AC to everyone in the complex. That way you have full time contractors on standby. I always wondered who does that work for the LOD, the HVAC, the elevators, the wiring, WHO is doing their logistics and how are they able to keep those folks not villains or henchmen
She's too wealthy and out of touch to really understand how trades and service industries work. She probably doesn't even know what the acronyms HVAC or HOA mean, she just vaguely understands that murdering people sometimes gets things to happen.
She probably didn't use the Lazarus pool itself just certain ingredients like maybe plants that grow around it that can cause a similar effect so going crazy won't happen maybe headaches.
1. 0:17 the CEO of Quibi? 2. So how come the justice league or anyone won’t arrest these evil women? Or at least the supervillains? Is there something I’m missing? I know that they are rich but still 3. 0:59 Awww! Look at Cheetah!😍😍 4. Let me see that card. *cut* Ow! Shit that’s sharp! *gushes a lot* that’s a lot of blood. 😵. *Dies of blood loss*
I just realized the business cards Talia gave the other women have the wrong phone number. Also, why are they all absurdly sharp? It's like they are made of metal.
Dont think they will, in comis, they would surely fight again, but according to the very feminist approach of this cartoon: all women are friends with each other and always bi, hot and against fighting other women. Especially if for a man, like in comics since they fight for Batman.
@@GabrielaQueenOfSocks I think they’re just referring to their brief marriage in comics. Though it’s definitely not canon in this universe, hence the “quotation marks”. I hope they don’t erase downplay or ignore Damien’s non consensual conception, now that Talia has been introduced.
@@GabrielaQueenOfSocksThat's only the movie. In the original comic books Batman and Talia al Ghul were romantically in love for a brief moment, and consensual sex which resulted Damian Wayne.
@@movies798 Unfortunately, no. It`s also in the Grant Morrison Comics which he admitted was a brainfart due to alcoholism, unfortunately it`s tainted how people view Talia ever since, ruining years of mutual love between Bruce and Talia in The Comics and Animated Series.
I always found that kinda ironic. Technically wouldn't eating plants in any form be cannibalism for Ivy? If anything it'd make more sense for her to eat meat.
@@lhzayn8699 And jail visits are a thing, she can try and take over wayne industries, try to brain wash Damian for some stupid world domination scheme, take over the Bathfamily trying to make an extension of the league of Shadows.
Why is Talia being such a jerk to Harley? They've made her totally murderous and cold, which is not the way the character was originally created. She rebelled against her fathers cold-blooded murderous schemes.
Ra doesn't kill Taila canonically across most versions I read most of the time ,She ends up killing herself ironically whenever Bruce or Damian tries to help her
