Yeah in theory. In praxis roughly 70% of the visitors where non industry people. They dont really check your company if you apply for a ticket. A friend of mine is electrician and got one. All of this pisses of the booths owners. I talked to one who complained that instead of a seller like me they had people there who had no business and no intention to buy anything and just took the time from them. Another one complained that too many people broke the stuff they had on displey or stole things like triggers. Another one was angry that the people just got to there booth to take the gifts meant for partners and left. The iwa gets smaller and smaller each year. Its nearly 4 halls smaller compared to the first time i have been there 7 years ago.

There were plenty people there as i was walking around that im sure were not industry people. And they were selling tickets at the door which made me think even more. They dont really check for a company or something that you are in any related industry.

Probably they could copy how indonesian handle it in indodefence, 3-4 days is reserved for the industry, and the last day open for public.

It's not as bad as the brits have it and we don't have tax stamps just because something is short or you add a stock to a pistol. We just have different BS to deal with. But of course some try to make it worse every year for political gain.

@@PolenarTactical Hard to imagine what could be improved, the one at the show felt just as amazing already as the AR one. They only have to make sure it is drop safe, so people wont complain about that 😂

@@VeryFastRodi this one isnt compatible with all AKs and the stock safety doesnt work Also i would like to change it a bit for better reliability and safety. Conventional designed AK triggers have an issue if you want to make them too light or short - it starts to double fire

I agree, i prefer shorter barrels Maybe 24" makes sense for PRS because of higher velocity to get a flatter trajectory or something like that...

They have 2 or 3 brands under the same company and they divide products for some stupid reason. They werent even showing the damn thing on IWA, i had to get someone there to get it for me from the back :/

I personally think that they will destroy it by itself - Nuremberg messe owns IWA and EnforceTac brands - they have two separate teams and they compete between eachother. Now EnforceTac is growing every year because it's more serious without the turkish and chinese crap, it's very restricted but this year they also let media in. So what happens is that most serious companies will rather go to EnforceTac where there are serious mil/leo buyers but they will also get media exposure. But i see this as big negative for cvilian shooters because IWA will become only hunting and gay sporting stuff and airsoft. It will loose vendors and the audience. And on the other hand most bigger companies are already doing this - showing all the cool new guns only on EnforceTac but not IWA with reasoning - that europeans cant own them anyway. To save both expos i think the best solution would be to restrict media to only IWA - because if EnforceTac is really so mil/leo limited, why would you then allow media there unless to get free marketing? And second thing, they should open IWA to public on at least one day and allow the sale of products. But germans are germans and they absolutely wont allow that

@@PolenarTactical General speaking i think you qre right with the assessment that it beats itself to death. The thing is that even for hunting stuff the IWA is not the number 1 place. Many big companys (blaser) go to the Saltburg hunting fare. As someone who went there explicit for searching new stuff for our hunting customers it was depressing. Barely anything new. And yes most of it is chinese or turkish crap. Personaly i think it would be cool to see some of the enforce tec stuff there. Like i know that i cant buy it but it interests me what the current state of the industry is. Btw you can legally sell weapons on a trade fair. We did it in the past on public open events. And many people sold smaller stuff on IWA. Mimtech was out on triggers at the last day. I am just not sure how the booth owners would like it when more non industry people be there. I talked to quite some people who where angry about stolen parts of exhibit parts that where broken by people. There are (atleast in germany) trade shows for the public with guns. Quite common too. But mostly hunting stuff. So i think the non industry people should stick to that. Maybe the IWA should lower the prices and try to attract more smaller businesses or more US companys.

@@neutronalchemist3241 you are completely wrong on this one EU had a white paper on banning most guns for 20 years or more. After the terrorist attacks (which were all done with illegal firearms) EU once again pushed the new regulation. We were lucky that so many people opposed it and after a couple of changes they presented and accepted the new EU firearm directive. It's mandatory for all EU members and even Switzerland had to accept it to stay in the EU trade agreement.

@@Jargolf86Its really an inner political issue combined with EU gun laws. Most people are indifferent on the issue or dont want their neighbor to own guns. Its unfortunate, but thats how most people here are.

In many European countries you CAN have guns. Even guns that are prohibited in US sometimes. It's no more difficult than having a driving licence.
