Looks like your doing a drop coat while spraying. I’m used to letting it flash and turning the pressure down and backing off. I am also used to seeing people letting the wet bet flash before spraying into it but I’ve always sprayed into a wet wet bed lol I paint boats though.
@@treysterthepainterturner8404 I hawe also spies hi-tec waterborne. That one is a ass busting juice. If the silver is not done right- clear it and do it again. But the 100 line is awesome at silvers. Atleast those, who i painted so far. And also the same- if hawing problems like some sandpaper marks, then i mix it with blender, pressure down and it works
@Fun_Gear Yeap. The silver’s definitely been good with the 100 line. And its blends out good for me. I just make sure that the panel stay wet with the wetbed.
I just it on a bumper just. I had it set to 20 psi. I close the fan in and turn it out 2 turn from in to out and 3 to 4 turns out from in on sealer and clear I do 2 turns in to out and 3 turns in to out on fluid for clear.

Nice work, yeah I like the Sata 5500 rp 1.3 0 along with the dv1 for my base the dv1 just lays down any thing I throw at it I have all the main brands also

For now until Monday I won’t know about the WS-400 obs. But the LS u can only spray to 26 psi and I do dump material on three panel. It supposed to be for solvent and 1st gen and up water base while the WS-400 obs is for wet on wet paint like what I just now like Glasurit 100 line and Spies Hecker Hi Tec.

@ANDY-we7mr yeah the Iwata great guns. And u can change your Sata RP to The CC with the nozzle set up. So it’s your choice of hands what u went to do or what gun u want to get.
Nice, love the MB50 RTS wet bed, works nice with the 3M PSG with 1.4 tip. Great to see quality painters see the benefits of 100. Your L00 71/72 sealer looked great too.
I preciate it brother. Yeah all I use is the mb50 wet bed and the 3m 1.4 tip for wet bed. I use the LPH-300 for sealer because the sealer so thin and the LPH-300 breaks it down really well
Great work treyster as always. I’ve talked to you before about using a wet bed . How come with the old paint line you used you didn’t use a wet bed on your blend panels.
Because I was using solvent base paint and u don’t make the solvent paint as wet as the 100 line. 100 line requires it to be wet so when u blend with it u will get really bad sand piling.
I’m a body guy now and prefer only painting for myself and when I open my own shop . My dad was a painter and he used to always tell me “there’s not a lot of painters anymore, just applicators” and boy was he right. Trey is definitely a painter . Good shit brother
