Ha - I have had a Luminor and currently trying to decide between a Speedmaster 57 and this Portofino! I love the look of both but can’t escape the feeling that the Speedmaster is slightly too thick and blocky looking from the side.
I own this piece and I really love its minimalistic refined elegance. Not too big at all and the quality of the alligator leather from santoni is just sublime. The see through back is a bonus showcasing a full view of the entire in-house movement. Portofino line is definitely one of my favourite from IWC
My mouse was running around like its head was cut off, trying to find the like button! I LOVE these Portofino 8 day watches. This and my Panerai 564 8 day would be an absolutely perfect 2 watch collection for me.
