Nice job on your first race! It’s like anything else the more you do it the easier it gets! You will feel much better on a narrow machine also! And make sure you get some hand guards as well! You should setup that trail tech in the bar pad it would be much better protected there vs out in the open if you flip over that things gna be toast 😬

I have been watching a bunch of your videos, ononewheel, dirt obseXXion, team 2 Gil’s, trying to find some mods that are essential that won’t break the bank right off the bat. Great job!

Never did enjoy RV'ing/camping anywhere near ATV or bike trails. They run all day and most of the night where we are trying to enjoy the RV and relax by the fire and BBQ. Complete madness from our perspective. Do enjoy riding but do not mix being anywhere near riders we don't know and their kids/toys etc. when camping. Looks like the man working the griddle has his over easy egg talents...good job

I used to run hair scrambles in occra oklahoma cross country racing about 25 years ago and if you can get usable power your good but to much power hurts you you speed more energy fighting it than racing it but looking good dude 💪👍

Honestly you did good for your first race, Great hole shot just got to work on endurance. Can’t wait to see you ride on the yfz! I think you will find it a lot easier to ride gncc/ixcr once your riding the yfz with the narrower width.

Awesome video! Did I miss what class you were in? I’m racing the John Penton this weekend and I’m sure I will die. I’m one of the guys you see that looks super fit. I can lift weigh all day but I’ll be lucky to make it one lap at a race pace. This kind of racing is unreal hard.

I've been too them gncc races and it be so muddy that when I took my quad home it would take 3 or 4 hours too get all the mud off of it

For that type of racing all you need is a stock 400ex with good shocks and good tires, the 450 is way to much power for that and way to wide

All that money in that quad and you got smoked by a craigslist special bug eye 400ex. Come on man put in a little more effort. If you were up front off that start just think of the gap you would of had after that wreck with everyone waiting around. At those bottlenecks you need to go around. Practice making your way thru uncharted woods. Please realize the quad has very little to do with it. The best feeling for me was beating the guys on decked out quads like yours on my stock machine in the B class.

To slow speed up

Aww man this hurts to watch. I'd suggest getting a set of handle bars that sweep back a few inches to get you more comfortable and be easier for you to control. I see you got the shock and vibe which is great. 2nd get rid of them tires on back put some ITP- GNC Holeshots on back. There softer lugs and hookup hands down the best and there about 4 pounds lighter then those tires you have now. 3rd learn how to ride b4 trying to go on trails that you can't make it up the hill bcuz you are Green and need more seat time. I race w 1 damn leg and I'm 42 a not in shape either. But haven't raced for last 5 years . I race the Motocross track at unadilla National quad MX. No fucking left leg at all, totally gone from my hip socket down..But have been racing Dirtbikes in my younger yrs. Then got 6 quads now.. I love my 505sx the best over my fully built 30k- KFX450R, and my LTR450R is 2nd on power and best bang for your buck.. YFZ450Ris slow as fuck stock but they all are but KTM.. Im also Building a new Yamaha now. Anyways best of luck love your personality and your drive!! Get your setup better and put that bitch in 1st gear on steep hills when your stopped, let clutch out and pin that slut. Toss them bars out and grab a KFX450 bend. They sweep back more. theres sucha thing as a natural...and you aint it.but i think if you prsctice for 4 hours a day for a while theres hope.keep it up.
