Thanks! The buses that past and stop at Ixia and Ialyssos are mostly the same that are also connected to airport (nr 50, 51) and they should be scheduled every 30 mins during season. Although depending on the month and departures the buses may be full and don't stop at all in Ixia/Ialyssos area if people ride from Airport to Rhodes City. It is common in Rhodes that 2-5 buses go by until you can hop on to right one who picks you up(sometimes you have to wave) . As you are coming soon I think you will be ok. Bus tickets are around 1.5€-2€ /per person from Ixia and has to be bought from bus with cash. Maybe they have a weekly option in bus station but you really don't need it. I use google maps bus schedule to "aim" for a bus in Rhodes :)
