My husband and I dated for 3+ years before getting married. He had been amazing before that day. He had (in his childhood) been the youngest ordained minister in the US, and knew the word better than anyone I've ever known or even heard of. He knew of my love of God and also (because of that love) that I do not believe in divorce. His gentle, loving, fun, kind, etc. ways were instantly gone the day we got married. He hit me so hard that day for absolutely no reason (I'm not saying there is a reason to hit someone). When I was knocked to the floor, holding my jaw, and said, ''why did you hit me'', he answered, ''I love you Cinder, I'd never hurt you''. I asked the same thing once again, he answered, ''I love you, I'd never hurt you...Jeffrey did it''. I responded, ''who's Jeffrey?'' These many long years have been a nightmare. I finally had him leave (after 38 years) but still feel the bible clearly states we are not supposed to divorce. He moved exactly 2 blocks from me and continues to ruin my reputation with lies everywhere he goes. He even will hurt himself and claim I'd hurt him (even though I would be nowhere near him, oddly, even strangers will say they witnessed this so-called abuse by me. In psychiatry these people are referred to as,''flying monkeys'', they really do exist. My ''husband'' was born with a charisma I also have yet to see in anyone else (documentaries on these charismatic cult leaders and the like...don't even come close to describing the narcissistic, borderline personality, psychopath, actor I am still married to. Iyanla says, if the marriage is bad, divorce him and move on. I want to be free from being married to him. If you know of anywhere in the bible where it states that God condones divorce, please (I'm really asking) please let me know. Thank you for reading this, even though it is very long. God Bless.
