I’m a 70-year old and very square white guy that listens to and performs mainly music of the 50’s and 60’s, and jazz. I stumbled across this video, and can only say,” Dudes, you guys rock. Totally ! “ Such a refined blend. What really caught my attention was the fact that, by adding the guitar, it drives even more the great sound you have only as an A Cappella group. It raises the entire song up a notch. I would keep him. ( In my mind, I also hear a soft shaker with this tune, which one of you could do). You avoid sounding the same on every song by mixing in different backgrounds, and doing things like singing with the gals on "Just Give Me A reason". Now how about knocking out some of those oldies I mentioned at the beginning, but with your twist on the tunes.? The world awaits . . . .

Just looking through my old favorites on RU-vid, 10 years this is crazy to me. Your guys' voices really sound like magic, I hope you are living beautiful lives ❤

Musically, this ticks all the right boxes. Summerbreeze grooving his head in a somewhat visual-orgasmic rhythm by virtue of his mesmerizing neck in tune like a fully tuned-up lava lamp. A 4-piece quartet hitting all the frequency g-spots in euphoric tune and when the song started heading toward melancholy death, the beat-box insertion lifted the vibe to provide a brilliance of difference. Each personality and voice had an equal share in providing an acoustic firework of sound. There is little wonder as to why this video has had so many views. My only wish is that you fellas can regroup to give us an encore. Your fans require more, and RU-vid will pay accordingly.

It seems the mics are placed in a so-called "Blumlein" mic position. It's being used a lot to record choirs and acapella groups. It's gives a nice stereo sound. I also use that technique to record acoustic groups and it works nicely when placed in the middle of the group.
