About that television thing: She appears in a looooooot of a ads in Brazil, beer ads, bank ads, cellphone ads, a loooot, really (and it never bothers me when it's an ad featuring her 😅), now that you brought that up I think that she's pointing her victory as a black woman that is in so much places as the face that will make people buy things, as an influential person, a person that has that level of charisma, of mediatic power. It's explicit when she say "Mãe eu tô no plimplim" (Mother, I'm on the pliplim). Plimplim is a sound associated with the biggest TV channel on Brazil, a really HUGE channel, and she's a judge on The Voice Brazil on there, so I think she's proud of who she became, and her mother too 😊

The song's title "Gueto" means Ghetto (in english). Basically, the song talks about the positive influence and the power that the "Gueto" holds regardlessly of what anyone says (in Brazil too), as the Black Comunity is a majority in Brazilian population. The Black population is what sustain Brazil, and she is bringing all of that truth and throwing it in the society's face! I'm from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (same city as her) and IZA is also one of my favorite artists. I highly recommend you to listen to her other songs and search for the translated lyrics (although it is sang in Brazilian Portuguese, they are all pretty easy to understand). Loved your video XO
