Great playing man. Those vintage pickups through a nice valve head just sing! It's quite hard to get an authentic univibe sound, but you did a great job here. Keepin Jimi's music alive for sure. ✌️✌️✌️✌️🖕.

@@cfboneslumThat's so cool about the Pedal Pawn, I hope you got a good deal on it. The thing with Univibes is that you really notice the difference in quality once you move to the higher price points, but if you love Jimi and his post Woodstock live playing, it really is an essential effect. The same with a good wah wah, fuzz, or octaver. The older analog circuitry combined with lower output vintage single coils and a really good valve head have the most beautiful tones you can get imho, and while digital circuits can do a reasonable approximation, they are just not the same. There is a warmth sweetness and harmonic richness to the older technology which is irreplaceable. Which was a big part of why Jimi's sound is still so magical to this day. Anyway, enough rambling! @@martinkingston1498 Yeah didn't have to sell a kidney to get it but it was a little more than I usually like to pay for a pedal 😆 100% agree the digital stuff along with the digital amps even the fender deluxe just dont sound like a valve amp should, definitely not at a band level ✌🏼
