I heard this song for the first time on October 10, 2010. Right on the day The Netherlands Antilles were dissolved for good. I cried my eyes out that night. It felt like a family was torn apart for many reasons, but without any specific destination or vision. Ironic is that I still cry for the same reasons today. We still have to ask God to don’t forget us and fix some stuff on this Island, because we are still far, far away from home. Beautiful song. Curacao, my heart will always be yours no matter what.♥️🇨🇼
