He's made ten or more records does what he wants him and Axl should've been like Keef n Mick but someone's dictatorship was to much estranged in video when he sings couldn't find no one to replace you it shows IZZY AXL knows
What I love about Izzy is that he could have what millions would've died for and he said 'FUCK IT. IT AIN'T ME'. I love his... looseness in attitude and playing.
@@konradfraczek6482 Izzy liked Steven Adler and they were responsible for writing/contributing a lot to the AFD record. If you google those two, you'll see pics of them hanging out with each other. However, if you Google Matt and Izzy, you won't find any pics of those two together in the early 90s. Matt never wrote songs for GN'R, all of the UYI drum tracks were designed by Adler in the 80s. And so when the UYI tour ended in 1993, the band was thrown in limbo; they didn't know what to do next except make a tribute album to buy time. Then 1995 came, they were gone for good. As far as the GN'R reincarnation bands of the 2000s and the reunion tour band of 2019 are concerned, jokes. Another reason Izzy left the group was that Axl wouldn't let him sing more songs on the Use Your Illusion albums, he allowed him to sing only four: 14 years, Double Talkin' Jive, Dust N' Bones, and You Ain't The First, which were cool tunes.
omg hahah literally him and duff are so notorious for that i made a compilation of duff saying y'know in one of the crack vids and it was almost every word HAHA i'll probably do a lil 1 min shitpost of just izzy saying that hahaha
I want a guy like izzy...he is hot and dont seem to notice his good look and act like a normal dude...he is the handsomest G n R members in my eyes other than duff n axl....
My God. I don't know how to comment this. Izzy has been one (or maybe the biggest one) of my adolescence's Heroes. I felt emotional seeing him sing 14 years with his long time friend Axl. Friendship is truly a great thing.
A lot of people disses Izzy's contribution to GN'R. But look, where was GN'R after Use Your Illusion and when Izzy left the band? The band seems in turmoil. Then a long hiatus. Without Izzy GN'R cant seem to hold together and lost their creative juices. Izzy was the creative back bone of their songs. So they can rock.
people look around... sees me dead on the ground. Anyway, Izzy is great. There is just something about him. do any of yous find that his voice is somewhat relaxing, its just so calm and easy going. I love the way he also loves his dog so much, I find it really cute
Was the beginning of the end after Izzy left GNR. Great songwriter & musician. Why the hell can't Slash, Duff & Axl just swallow their pride, admit they miss him & bring him back along wth Steven Adler ffs? That is the real GNR EVERYONE wants to see not three fifths of it. If GNR want to be great again then for the good of all that is rock n roll bring them back make, some kickass music or just put an end to the current lineup that's playing the GNR back catalogue on this endless tour as it's f**king tedious.
Well, Axl and Steven have some problems bc Axl didn’t/don’t want the other members to win the same amount of money as him. Also Izzy didn’t like touring with Axl bc of his diva attitude and the whole band’s drug addiction. But yeah, somehow I hope they get along with their problems and, at least, give us a little bit of the old but gold GNR before the band went straight to hell.
After what happened when they played Germany I don't no much of stories just heard crowd or Nazis with guns I guess it was really dangerous and the riots and sign the band name over to Axl the band he formed AXL followed him to LA no IZZY no guns
Fuck, here's me thinking I was the only one who loved Izzy's voice. He's one cool guy. He's probably my idol and rolemodel. I mean like, I remeber telling my mom that Slash was my rolemodel theen telling her that he stole bikes and shit and also died before. She was like and he's your rolemodel. The same goes with Duff. But Izzy? Man, he's perfect. I mean, I'm not in love with him or anything like that but man, he's just sooooooooooooo cool. He wasn't completely crazy or anything and he always sounds relaxed and laidback as if he had not a worry in the world. I relate to that. I really badly want to meet him to have a good ol' heart to heart even tho I'll probably have nothing else in common other than loving music, playing guitar and loving dogs. I'd also like to meet Steven Adler and give him a big hug. Yo, sadboymetalhours? Look up Steven Adler on Howard Stern. On one of them (these are all kinda in the 2000s) at the start he triies to hug everyone which is really cuteand also like me. . . I wanna meet them all. Was gonna go to the gnr concert last year but its still postponed, I'd say it will be canceled. Thats why every time I see one of the videos I wanna cry. . . Sadboymetalhours, your videos are the best. Wish everyone could see the awesomeness of those dudes. Thank you for keeping my half way sane even tho by now I probably have about ten imaginary friends.
Real conversation I had with a 20 year old kid I worked with a few years ago about comparing modern music to classic hard rock: Me: You should give Appetite for Destruction a listen, it is an absolute masterpiece! You have heard of Guns and Roses, right? Him: Yeah, of course! Slash was in it, and Axl Rose... But I don't know who the singer is. Me: Axl Rose is the singer Him: Oh, is he? Me: No... Izzy was the rhythm guitarist Him: Huh?
Thank God my friends and I were able to see Guns N' Roses one time with Izzy. If we could only get the entire pro-shot footage from the July 29, 1991 Inglewood Forum concert.
The Juju Hounds album is so underrated. How will it go (really pretty,) shuffle it all, pressure drop (which I think is a Marley cover, it's Izzy doing reggae and it's awesome,) cuttin' a rug, are some highlights, but all the tracks are great, no filler. Definitely worth a listen if you can find it - if you like Dylan/petty, stonesy blues, or any of Izzy's songwriting from Illusion 1, you won't be disappointed. I had the CD many years ago but it got washed away by Katrina
